I was trying to tell everyone all off-season what a great signing Eaton would be! ?

His command needs work for sure, but he was real good last year. He hasn't pitched much due to back to back arm injuries in the minors. Not good enough for Eatdog though!

Yeah. It's just weird. The hot takes are comical. Like people talking about training for a marathon and then giving up after 100 yards lol. PS. F Woj! Let's go!

Can we quote you on this every time you talk about the team similarly to how you quote Win4Prep because he got mad and said he wasn't a fan anymore when he was frustrated?

Stepped out to grab some ice cream with the wife and read the replies and thought Dallas gave up 10 runs after the 2 run homer I saw. People turning off the game lol

Robert has a walk rate near 10%. That's not bad at all. He's aggressive but he'll take a walk.

They're trying to get Robert more fastballs right now by putting him in the 2 hole. I'm skeptical how much that works in the modern game, but that's the logic.

McKenzie is really good. I like him in the future more than Plesac for this team. I think McKenzie could be a star if he stays healthy.

So Andrew Vaughn shouldn't be on the team. This isn't that complicated. I personally think he obviously gives the team a better chance of winning. He has a .400 OBP while not hitting the ball. He's much better than Nick Williams who is not a big leaguer caliber player.

We Thought We Have A Good Bullpen?
This forum loves blaming everyone but the people who actually blew the game and the lead. The Bullpen was given leads and makes a ton of money/% of their payroll and they didn't do their job. The point of having a great bullpen is to cover for a shortcoming or a poor offensive day. The bullpen has been a disaster.

A Nick Madrigal Sized Sample
Scouting has not changed in the way that would have changed how Trout was seen imo. Kids today still suffer because they're northern kids, although not as badly as Trout (showcases continuing to grow has helped) but it was very obvious that Mike Trout was the best high school player in the country but people questioned his competition.

Royals vs Sox 5:20pm Home Opener GT
Hey Buck Showalter: "There’s a reason why he’s moved around,” former Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Monday night on MLB Network. “Trust me, it’s not just pure baseball. I remember when he was taken in the (Rule 5) draft, we were glad they took him. “It doesn’t mean he can’t play. You trust your people. I saw the numbers. He could hit a little bit. (But) I remember talking to the farm director, talking to the general manager: ‘What do we got on this guy?’ They did not think his ability would override the other challenges he had.” Chew on a few more Yermin homers you old bag.

Vaughn another day off. Someone tell me again why he's on the team?

Tony just did something I never saw Ricky do ever...
It's not political at all; couldn't care less what party someone is a member of. Just saying in general we tend to put people in important positions of power when they're well past their cognitive peak.

What's hilarious is people who deny the deterioration of one's mind and body as they get old, 70+ nearing 80. It's science but for some reason people want to act like it's discriminatory. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2596698/ It's also why electing a near 80 and beyond POTUS is flat out idiotic.

4-7 GT: CWS @ SEA (3:10 PM CT)
He's running a 20% walk rate. He hasn't hit the ball well, sure, but he certainly looks like a professional to me.

I mean, not sure why Hamilton is playing over Vaughn again. What's the point of Vaughn being on the team and losing that year of eligibility again? Pretty confused if he's only facing lefties for the most part.

I'd bet a lot of money against there being only 60 points of separation between vaughns BA and OBP.

Robert has honestly looked much better. He spit on a slider out of the zone there setting himself up to get the mistake. He's fighting himself a bit early in counts as you can tell he wants to swing but his approach is improving game to game. The reward for that will come.

Why would the white sox want to acquire the worst player in baseball?

He'll find his release point. I'm not at all worried about the guy.
