Said it a couple weeks back, but Lambert will be the White Sox biggest prospect surprise this year. I love the way he has completely changed his repertoire and his approach the past 12 months. His use of the high fastball has completely changed the view of his breaking pitches. Lambert is looking like a MLB Starter to me the past 12 months.

Just use a six man to start the season.

Given him losing a month and a half or so with the hand injury - and the issue players have with coming back the same year from hand injuries - I'd be surprised. It'll probably take him all year just to fully recover from the injury. I hope I'm wrong though.

His defense was well above average defensively last year despite a slow start. Continuing to improve would mean he becomes an elite defensive SS. Tim was a 50-70th ranked prospect. If he turns into a constant all star he far exceeded expectations. If hes a 3+ WAR SS for a few years he outperformed prospects that were similarly ranked. Tim is literally the least of the white Sox concerns and still has a chance to be perhaps to he surprisingly really good. More than likely he'll be at least average which would be fine. I do think he has a really big year though. 4+ WAR.

That is far from the most thorough explanation. The Oregonian piece published had the police report excerpts and quotes from people actually involved - as well as the police department. Huh? Here is my case. She said it happened multiple times - over multiple years. The child described to the cops what happened. Luke was charged. He admitted he did it. So now, we have a child telling the story, the police pursuing it and the person accused admitting it. That seems pretty cut and dry. Luke then becomes potentially rich and famous, this resurfaces, he now denies it because he figures that's his only way out. So not only did we have an accusation but also a conviction and a confession. You somehow think the side you're sitting in in this discussion has equal standing or facts behind it. No. You have one guy saying nope, never happened.

The girl told investigators that inside Heimlich's bedroom, he pulled down her underwear and "touched her on both the inside and outside of the spot she uses to go to the bathroom," according to court records. "She said that she told him to stop, but he wouldn't," the documents state, and that "it hurt" when he touched her. A 6 year old girl told police that. He pled guilty. Now he says he didn't do it when it's very convenient to claim such. 6 year old girl made it up?

This is my thought with Heimlich. He doesn't deserve the opportunity. He took the innocence away from that child and doesn't deserve to live a prosperous and fairy tale life.

A more athletic Al Horford? I don't see it - Horford is and was incredibly skilled. Horford can run an offense - most bigs cant do that. Horford is an All-Star caliber player. And I'm not trashing WCJ production FTR, I have trashed his actual impact and his tools/room for growth. I do not see the ceiling you do. Horford was helping to run the offense from the high post in college. Eric Bledsoe is a really good NBA player - if Sexton was Bledsoe that would be a nice outcome. Heimlich signed with the Mexican league today. Scouts who saw him pitch at driveline claim he could impact a MLB rotation today in a good way. Heimlichs story is disturbing and zero tolerance for it is where I stand. His denials are odd - given his pleading guilty. He claims it was based on bad legal advice but I would never plead guilty to something that fucked up if I didnt do it - no matter what. I say, signing heimlich is an unforgivable sin, what say you? I do think someone signs him eventually.
