Look at Ray Ray Run

Why? His raw power is very clearly 60+ and hes already finding a way to get to it. His tools were ahead of his production and being concerned as to what hed get out of them was a normal concern entering the year but now that his ++ raw power is showing up in games already at 21 it doesnt make a lot of sense to be pessimistic about his power. I said it before but his floor comp may be Mike Cameron. I may be being too optimistic but that's what it looks like.

It's been two+ weeks and he has 3 XBH. It would be nice to see it tick upward but to day theres no room in the game for someone like Dustin Pedroia today is an odd take to say the least. By all accounts - very good defender and baserunner who can hit for average and keeps the ball in play.

Yeah but there are plenty of guys in the minors that were under assigned and they didnt hit 450 with a homer every other game. At this point it's more than under assigned. He's just a freak of nature. You're greatly downplaying his accomplishments by citing his level. It's not as if hes super old for the level he is at.

What would there reason be for this? Theyve already given him 30 million. The sooner he can contribute the better.

Brian McCann is the biggest clown in baseball. The one against Carlos following his triple was the worst policing I've ever seen. He hit a ball he thought was gone off Cole. He didnt run right away and it bounced off the top of the wall and past McCutchen. So Gomez kicks it into high gear and gets a triple easily anyway. Cole walks over to them and yells something like "yeah, next time maybe you'll fucking run b****." Cole was mad that Gomez may have cost himself an inside the park homer and instead got a triple. Cole was mad at Gomez for doing something dumb that helped Cole.

Yeah. The offense is a lot of fun. I'll take it.

Hand is part of the bat in that situation. Not sure why he would get first base.

I didnt like bringing fulmer up - should have picked someone else. He was starting to get some confidence with his new delivery in AAA. He needs that confidence too.

That one was too close to take. Just under the zone. Could have gotten rang up there - last year he would have gotten rang up. Hes also dead set on a fastball there as he should be. Cant believe that guy threw a 3-2 curve ball.

Good at bat. I'm shocked he was thrown a 3-2 breaking ball with the bases loaded. That's some respect right there.

Someone brought up golf and the funny thing is golf has changed A LOT thanks to Tiger. Tiger used to take all kinds of shit from people for his fist pumps and celebration. Now its iconic to his game and golf loved when hes back at the top of his game celebrating.

So you tell your kid to stop having fun while playing a game? You actually removed him from the game? It was his 50th career home run, hes zoned in and it tied the game. Its likely timmy said something to his teammates like I got this... then did it and was jacked up. This is normal.

This isnt your office job pal. Trying to compare the two is impossible. The competitive nature needed to br a professional athlete is immense. Competitiveness is instilled in emotion.

A hitter siding with a pitcher - not on his own team - throwing intentionally at a batter because he was jacked up about his homer is so embarrassing I genuinely feel sorry for Grichuk.

It would not be Tim's fault. Come on... I wouldnt have been partaking in the riot that's for sure. I love that stuff in baseball and I can honestly say when someone did it to me in high school or college it never once bothered me. Now if you come into second spikes high, try to injure my teammate or do something dirty, that's a different story.

I imagine he'll sit around .265-270 in the big leagues in BABIP given his profile - power hitting lefty who pulls everything on the ground and hits a lot of fly balls. That said, 182 is clearly low no matter what.

Yeah, but even Keller (who has great control) can't guarantee the ball doesn't slip and hit him in the head or hand or knee. Getting hit by a 94 MPH pitch really hurts. MLB has CLEARLY taken a side in this situation, and they have sided with Anderson. He is what the league is trying to promote. Check out MLB's official twitter yesterday; they literally tweet at Tim and tell him to keep being himself. This is what the game wants. Guys like Tim help promote the game.

I'll say this, you found out who the leader of the team was yesterday. Playing with a guy like Anderson is A LOT of fun. He gives you energy when it may be lacking. He keeps you honest in regards to your effort and he reminds you that this is supposed to be fun. Anderson would have been a heck of a guy to play with that's for sure. I loved the gif of Alcides Escobar doing this same thing for the Royals last year. As for "act like you've been there," I'll say I'm not a big fan. Having been somewhere before doesnt make it not fun anymore or exciting. It's like telling someone who's had sex to be stoic and act like you've had it before lol.

I'll say this.. it's better than Hawk when the team is bad. It got to the point where Hawk would go innings without talking.

They're in the entertainment industry. Their job is to entertain. Emotion is good for entertainment. I just was scrolling through Twitter and it was hilarious how many young people were tweeting that Tim Anderson is their new favorite player. Emotion is cool and fun. You show a lot of it playing as a kid with nothing really at stake. Tim Anderson doesn't get in trouble outside of work. Theres no domestic violence accusations. He's married with two kids. By all accounts he does a ton of work in the community and with kids. All in all a good human it seems. He plays the game incredibly hard. He's clearly worked very hard to improve his game. And he's living his dream each and every day. Being excited about that is normal and being excited for helping your team is normal. I honestly would be fine with the takes if it were both sides, but pitchers yell, scream and fist pump all the time. Never once do these same people, who have a problem with Anderson, tell the pitcher it's too much when they fist pump; and no one would think it's ok or normal if a better ran to the mound and hit the pitcher with the at bat the next time hes up. People break bones every year being HBP. It could kill you. And for what reason? Because he got a hit off you and was excited the at bat before? Kids like bat flips and fist pumps and fun. The game needs more kids. Their entire promotion this year is "Let the Kids Play", and they got a guy being thrown out for doing exactly what they're trying to promote. Enough is enough.
