  1. Nobody can extend everyone, that's fine.
  2. Thats two more that you could count on than the 2014 Cubs or Astros, it's also only year 3. Next year it will be at least 4 guys, probably 5, and possible even 6. I think this team is a lot close to arriving than many give it credit for.
  3. Yeah most of the disagreement seems to be about what they're actually worth.
  4. Agreed. I'm also fairly confident this is unrealistic as well.
  5. Agreed. I'm just not sure that's at all realistic is my point. There seems to be an idea floating around that you sell just to sell when you're, well, a seller. You absolutely do not HAVE to trade bummer.
  6. What do you think you're getting for Bummer that would be more worthwhile than riding it out? The odds are slim.
  7. I've changed my mind on Colome, I think he's been pitching way above his head so let's sell high. Bummer I wouldn't trade unless it's someone you're confident can help you win baseball games in 2020, or a package of prospects you think you can flip for starter/RF help.
  8. Hawk being aggressively wrong? Whoda thunk
  9. The Sox aren't on his NTC Os , Sawx, Reds, Rockies, Tigers, LA x 2, Twins, Yankees, As, Phillies, Padres, Giants, Cards, Jays
  10. A reasonable and level headed thread
  11. I like all of these ideas a lot. I have no idea how realistic any of them are. Going into a year with: Grienke - Giolito - Kopech - Cease - Wheeler/Wood type signing / Rodon - Dunning - Lopez - Gohara would probably work. Jesus Sanchez could probably take over right by next year and now your looking at rebuilding a bullpen instead of a rotation which is a lot easier to pull off.
  12. We're talking about Mike Montgomery for Martin Maldonado wtf. That is nothing more than a garbage for garbage trade.
  13. The only answer is no one has any idea what Giolito is going forward. He has a brand new delivery that is going to tax his body in different ways, so he's hit a wall. We don't know if he'll get over it or not.
  14. Don’t get why they didn’t just call Zavala up. They had to have seen something in the few at bats Collins did have to have second thoughts.
  15. I don’t need 300 abs to tell me he’s had two terrible at bats today.
  16. You seen how AJ reed looked in his two at bats?
  17. I’m guessing fatigue is becoming a factor. That’s two games in a row where he cruised and then hit a wall.
  18. So does most everyone though to be fai
  19. He’s 4 years away from going to a home
  20. Ned Yost going to two World Series and winning one tells you all you need to know about how much managers matter.
  21. Without looking anything up, Junis has to have some of his best numbers against the Sox.
  22. It’s be sweet if Yoan hits the ball real hard somewhere
  23. I want to see how effective Gios fastball is at the top of the zone to 4-5 inches above it. I assume very.
  24. That was two of the worst ABs you’ll ever see.
