  1. Even when he hasn’t gotten dinged up it has always looked like he shoulda have been dinged up with the exception of the one 14 k game
  2. Put the ball and your bat on the moon Timothy
  3. Looks like I’ve missed a fun one. It’s never the ass kickings I miss
  4. Don't jinx it
  5. Anderson runs kind of like a moron, it's amazing that he's so fast. Robert looks like a sprinter. That dude should be playing wide out for the bears.
  6. Robert and Eloy are also pretty close to the same age though. I'm not worried about the gap in their at bats.
  7. next when the roster goes to 26
  8. Striking out 18/9 on a bad day is a pretty good sign tbh
  9. I kinda agree with the premise that he should come up before 2020 if they want to compete, but not because he's a 'Sox Prospect'. If he has a weakness to be exposed it's best to find about it now.
  10. Oh and that bum Frank Thomas. But that was a different regime.
  11. Ah well they were lumped together so I jumped to a conclusion. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but the Sox have drafted, what, 2 notable football/baseball guys? One of which was a huge prospect for a while.
  12. This is such a lazy take. Abrams is the second best prep bat with very good bat to ball skills by all accounts. Not every black kid who runs well is a 'Football player' and Adley Rutschman is a football player, btw
  13. Was just about to say the same thing
  14. The fall off in expected value between top 5 and everything else is pretty steep.
  15. Kiley a 75% chance Abrams’ goes to the sox. So I think the odds of Vaughn are preeeeeetty slim
  16. I'm not sure the overall strategy has changed. I think, and acknowledge that this is purely speculation, the FO felt that they acquired the necessary top end talent to open a competitive window through trades and inter. signings and were using the draft for 'high floor' supplement to that group, and once that group mostly advanced through the minors it's time to shift back to drafting for ceiling.
  17. The Orioles have been known to be fools.
  18. Turned out better than the guys that went in front of him
  19. Counterpoint: look at the teams in Minnesota and Milwaukee
  20. This just tells me the key is to not get hurt. Which it is.
  21. It’s not 1982. Zero of that matters in Cy Young voting.
  22. ...are you blaming the FO for sale not winning a Cy Young?
  23. mqr replied to soxfan49's topic in FutureSox Board
    Luis Roberts ceiling is...?
  24. Lopez did a decent impression of one
  25. The white Sox are better than the Indians. That’s more of an indictment on the Indians than praise of the Sox, my opinion of them is loooooooooow
