  1. Sure, but the other team doesn't know that. And if you were an opposing parent, you would apparently think I was trying to slight your kid.
  2. They're going to retire his number aren't they
  3. Story time. I only ever hit one home run in high school. I watched the absolute shit out of it not because i was showing anyone up but because I was so excited I had no idea what to do with myself, almost fell on my face rounding first. Got plunked the next time up. They plunked the kid who’s only real purpose on the team was to pinch run and pitch. Thought it was horribly dumb ever since.
  4. More home runs for everyone!
  5. Yes. What I'm not going to do is tell my 8 year old to react with violence. Worst case, it's a teaching moment to tell your kid not to take silly things so damn personal.
  6. *peaks from under couch* so it's not clear to jump back in?
  7. Merk. Sorry I didn't link the tweet.
  8. REnteria plans on running Cordell out there everyday. I like it, and good for him.
  9. See y’all in the GT!
  10. I get two a month, I need to be more strategic.
  11. I think he's already proven his only ability in center is to be a body
  12. There's no absolute truth about any of this. Which is why people have been arguing about it for almost 24 hours now.
  13. They're entertainers, not accountants. And the NFL just went real lax with all of that, if you didn't notice.
  14. Well, you do. But hockey allows that sort of thing. But someone has to accept a fight. You don't see guys firing 100 mph slappers at people though. If anderson were allowed to go and punch someone in the ribs, I wouldn't have a problem with plunking. But he's not, so I do.
  15. But why? What difference does it make. Again this is all arbitrary. He didn't direct anything at the royals, he didn't put anyone in danger. What, then, is the big deal?
  16. Exactly. It's also why Anderson seems to be getting into this stuff all the time. He's an outsider. Its pretty great.
  17. Why is it a bad example to celebrate? What does that have anything to do with a harmful habit? And how is it professional to throw a fit on the mound and put someone in danger?
  18. Like 99% agree, but the perception of baseball players being sticks in the mud certainly doesn't help. This is the most the internet has talked about a specific player in.......? That's a good thing. That helps.
  19. Grichuk getting deservedly flamed
