If I had to bet money on top 15 or so prospects I don't think will ever play a game for the White Sox for one reason or another, it would go as follows: 1. Jake Burger 2. Gavin Sheets 3. Blake Rutherford Wouldn't bet on a pitcher because who knows he gets a spot start, or a week in the pen.

I'll say this again, it's not even missing them that hurts, it's the way in which they missed that is so aggravating/concerning.

Moncada, Anderson, Lopez and Rodon are all useful everyday pieces as is. Yolmer could be useful if deployed correctly. Obviously a lot of room for improvement for Yoan, and I think there will be plenty. But pieces are just pieces, after letting Machado go, If you don't get a star or two out of Eloy/Moncada/Robert this whole thing is DOA.

Moncada would have to improve quite a bit at the plate to be more valuable at 3rd, unless he is significantly better at 3rd than 2nd which I find hard to believe

4 months ago I had zero expectations that Manny or Harper would ever in a million years come here to play, I still felt pretty good about where the Sox sat. Those expectations changed. I still think there's enough talent to capitalize on the Indians window closing but I now feel uneasy, not because of the players in the system, but the absolute boobery put on display these last few weeks.

Moncada was more highly regarded that Eloy ever has been, what, 12 months ago? I understand the consternation, but come on.
