I really hope that Gonzagas performance against GA Tech is enough for everyone to recognize how impressive the Illini have been thus far this season...As long as Gonzaga, Wake, Arkansas and Georgetown continue to win like they have been our wins look all the more IMPRESSIVE!! Yea...that was a nice win by Northwestern tonight. They will be more competitive with a post presence and hopefully as he gets used to actually playing once again his defense and rebounding will improve alot. I really think you guys could finish 5th in the big ten...yea its not great but it could be worse right?!?! You accomplished what Notre Dame was unable to do, beat the IMO mediocre Blue Demons on your own court Ok, now back to the Illini!!

Killa...I totally agree I'm not always mr. positive myself, but I love the fact that KW kept his word and changed the team. I've been begging for this change for a while and I truly believe KW is still gonna pick up a quality starter and a middle infielder (I would love Cora) or a Pierzinski type catcher... We have to face the facts we are a middle market ballclub...we cant use the addition by addition policy the yankees and red sox use to improve their teams. This move gives us more than what we had previously...Financial leverage. Fill the last few holes and then for the first time in a while we have a team that can hit, pitch, run, play defense and maybe even WIN!?!? Yea its a revolutionary thought but hopefully we made a step in the right direction

Exactly what part about 70 stolen bases don't you understand?? He's in scoring position about as often as a hitter who hits .300 with no speed...plus if you hit a single he scores, he is a leadoff hitter, sure hes not a Rickey Henderson or young Kenny Lofton but compared to what we had last year!?!?
