  1. Sorry wasn't intended to be directed towards you...just more of a carryover from the Bring back Esteban thread... I'm sorry if it came off that way
  2. Oh he had a good second half? Why not sign him to a minor league contract? Oh D'angelo Jimenez had a good year, lets sign him to a minor league contract! Oh look...Lyle Mouton had a good year in the Independant leagues, lets sign him to a minor league contract!!!
  3. Those were two, yes two outstanding baseball games last night. A normal baseball fan would be able to take that away and not worry about what the fans were doing during the game. But their is a reason why White Sox fans are stereotyped to be angry, rather have the Cubs lose than have the White Sox win, cynical and contright fans. We celebrate others misfortunes rather than celebrate our own team...it sickens me
  4. IS THERE ANY FORMER WHITE SOX PLAYER SOME OF YOU POSTERS DONT WANT BACK??? WHY DO WE CONTINUE TO LIVE IN THE PAST? Ventura, Loaiza, Durham, when is it gonna stop???? I don't want Loaiza back, what for? So he can go 5 innings and give up a minimum of five runs every start? NO THANKS Lets be a little more imaginative people... And he is gonna be offered more than a minor league contract, hes holds the Mexican Pitching record. :rolly
  5. You pitch Munro... All the pressure is on the Cardinals right now. They are in the midst of blowing a 2-0 lead, is/was the favorites coming into the NL playoffs, and will be expected to hit a pitcher like Munro. Like Knight said, its a win-win situation for the Astros. You pitch Munro if you happen to win you have Clemens and Oswalt for games 1 & 2 of the WS...lose you have Clemens for game seven... Clemens is 42, give him the rest and he will most likely be able to deliver the goods Its not like the cardinals have Cy Young on the mound in game six, so you have a shot no matter who pitches for you.
  6. Hmm...and people wonder why our attendance average is 15,000 a game... Oh thats because we dont care
  7. Agreed...I dont think anyone isnt at fault in this thread Any post that includes "like a tard...." would be considered ignorant and infantile in my opinion. I truly wonder what some of us would act like if the Sox actually could make the playoffs, although most of us probably prefer just ripping on other teams fans.
  8. Illinois lands third 2005 recruit: PG Chester Frazier from Baltimore, MD All I know hes 6'1", 180; good defender who is up and coming on alot of people's rankings. Supposedly he was only recruited by smaller A10 schools until recently when UConn, Illinois and other schools took notice. Most expected him to wait until spring to declare. But when the Illini offered a scholarship he accepted immediately. Illini Fans welcome Chester!!!!!!!
  9. Loaiza did look very 2003ish out there yesterday. Throwing the cutter on the inner half of the plate, Throwing more four seam fastballs...he looked better out there than i expected But then he lost the game Oh well, big papi is a tough out
  10. I completely agree with you. Add a playmaking WR, nickle corner b/c McQuarters is :puke , Left Tackle (maybe Columbo??? ) and I think we have the guns to take us to the house. I love our young Defensive line, its not only getting good but it has serious depth DE: Brown, Ogunleye and Haynes DT: Harris, Johnson, Ian Scott and Boone Very reminicent of the Titans DLine that made the super bowl a few years back... Sidenote: Oh and Loaiza is coming in the game for the yankees!!! 1st and 2nd, one out 11th inning
  11. Question...why does everyone think Sexson is lefty??????????? Who are you mixing him up with Geoff Jenkins? Cause hes a 6'7 lanky, right handed masher who can hit the crap out of the ball but also tends to not make contact. Hes a great player when healthy but just not the type of player we need because we have a number of players very similar to him. Although he probably would hit 45-50 homers at the cell
  12. Still won't happen...too many bad teams (Miami, Buffalo, Cardinals, San Fran, Carolina, I'm sure i missed a few) And the Bears always win at least four games, I've already settled for a pick in the 7-10 range...it never fails
  13. What exactly have you seen in his first two starts that makes you believe he should even be in the NFL? Maybe he has a future as a QB coach or Coordinator but whatever book knowledge he has does not translate on to the field. He makes slow reads, bad throws, has no pocket presence, leaves his WR's out to dry, and can't feel the pash rush. Just wait until he starts gettin those throws down to reciever level, instead of sickening incompletions he will start throwing interceptions. He does seem to be tough, he has good 'size' and knows the offense. :rolly If Quinn is our backup next year :puke
  14. Quinn Probable Starter against Tampa Bay Chicago Tribune Wow...I should no better than to think a Chicago team would do a proactive thing and change QB's. I guess Jonathan Quinn's epically bad performance wasn't good enough and they still see something with him :puke Well at least we will lose again
  15. It is pretty pathetic...every thread in Pale Hose Talk you two manage to f*** up Why don't one of you take the high road and shut up?????????????????? Both of you have nothing better to do than argue about nothing all day long? Or maybe IM or PM one another do you honestly think any of care about the fact that you two dont like one another?
  16. Can you blame the computers for liking the weather in Florida?
  17. SS2K4...Now I'm not gonna rebut what you said but read your statement very carefully and edit your post I don't see any reason why we need Richie Sexson, .260 hitter, Big power, lots of strikeouts and oh SOOO right handed! Plus like Cheat said, we have about 4 or 5 Richie Sexson wannabes already
  18. If I completely disregard the fact that Cade McNown is a jackass....He did have way more ability than Quinn...the biggest problem with McNown is that everyone on the team hated him and he thought he was hot s*** when in reality he wasn't very good. At least Cade could/would heave it down field to Marcus Robinson and complete 30% of them, Quinn is a walking incompletion/sack... :puke
  19. WOW....Jonathan Quinn is horrible, terrible and pathetic all in one... He goes from overthrowing everyone in the first half to taking crucial sacks in the fourth quarter....I was watching the game yearning for Jim Miller, Shane Matthews, Chris Chandler, Moses Moreno, Peter Tom Willis, Steve Stenstrom, Dave Kreig any one of them to come out of the crowd to play instead of him. The only bright side he overthrows the recievers so badly the defense can't intercept any passes because they also have no chance in hell of catching the ball. But I'll be optimistic, I'm REALLY starting to like what we have goin on defensively...by next season we will have a dominant D line, solid linebackers and with a healthy secondary.....YES SIR
  20. Sweet...I'll definitely check it out Be nice to hear some new stuff from their singer Cedric!!
  21. Well IMO... Bad Religion: Green Day: Bad Religion is harder, faster, smarter and deeper music than Green Days other than that their identical
