For those who don't read the Guiness Book of World Records daily as I do that is actually a picture taken of the tallest living woman and the shortest living man (apparently Pedro's midget). I believe that 'woman' is no longer with us as she has passed on a while ago. Therefore I'm definitely goin with C. Minny... And Steff...I think that thing in zero's avatar is the woman from the sunday night sex show on oxygen channel. And apparently she has a dildo strapped to her chin, disturbing yes i agree :puke

Stole that directly out of my mouth...thats exactly what i was thinking, but then disregarded it as too dumb to write!!! Glad to see were on the same page

Does anyone know if Chris Carpenter is back for the next series? Because that would be a huge lift for the cards... -
He actually Hit a Grand Slam?? Thanks for the memories Robin! He was a perfect fit for the southside, and his glove and big hits will be missed in the MLB.

He wouldve considered much of what he did after the accident a success despite the fact he never did walk again. He became a spokesman for advanced research in spinal cord injuries and was more than willing to participate in many of the tests that will one day lead to even better techniques in the treating of these injuries. In addition, I heard on the news this morning patients who are diagnosed with the type of paralyzation Reeve's had average out to living only 7 more years without doing all the radical treatments and public speaking Christopher Reeves did... He was a fighter and proved his mental strength to be greater than the physical long after he lost the ability to walk... God Bless him and my prayers go out to his family.

I guess I should apoligize for posting this b/c of the Ken Caminiti thread in the Palehose board...but lets be serious doesnt it belong here anyway? I didnt think to look there to see if this story had been discussed on that board
-
A bad combination...and imagine his average heart rate while all this was goin on? GEEZ
-
Yea probably had more to do with it...especially since just 8 months ago he tested positive for using coke. Sad a man his age still relied on that all the way till the end. And probably used it almost his whole career where no one repremanded him or anything, baseball needs to create some sort of testing policy as opposed to the see no evil, hear no evil policy they currently have going on.

It's all about publicity for these designers and this one would definitely be considered an success...look he/she has even had their design shown off on a White Sox fan message board...a medial usually considered unreachable by most fashion designers

After living away from home for four years when I was away from College, the prodigal son has returned home seeking shelter while trying to build up enough cash to eventually spread my wings and get my own place....I have a sweet setup at home so I think y'all would be doin the same thing as I am. I live with my two loving parents, younger brother, and a doggy.

Ken Caminiti 1996 N.L. MVP, Dies at Age 41 Yahoo News Ben Walker, AP Sports Writer Although he was 41...can't say I'm overally suprised at this one. He never really took care of his body the way someone should. But my condolonces go out to his family, friends and former teammates.

You just sound bitter.... They beat our ass all season, every season for the last three years and they are the choke artists? We f***ing choke in July and August let alone September...need I remind you how we faired the last time we made the playoffs? This is a stupid thread and just shows how immature some of us are. I really think Buehrle made those remarks to try to spark our own team and get in the head of the Twins...too bad we just sucked and couldnt get anything going. And I agree that World Series Champions are the gauge for long-term success, only champions are remembered years from now. But I would rather be in the playoffs every year and lose then have this mediocre team that pisses all over themselves each and every year. I wish our motto wasn't "We just wanna go home in September"

"Cubs an Embarrassment" according to si.com
Chisoxrd5 replied to mmmmmbeeer's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I think the Tribune company has enough intelligence to know even some Cub fans will be disgusted if they let both Chip and Stone walk....Then Again..... I wonder if half of the crowds in cinci, arizona and atlanta will still be cub fans next year....or will the nationwide cubbie craze start winding down?? :puke -
Aww...maybe he can sign with the Blue Jays or D'Backs and actually be a starting pitcher, because hes just too good to be a reliever. Scheoney can get on the Sammy Sosa bus and get outta Chicago for all I care...I lost him when he came out complaining that he deserves to start...WHY?????? He wouldve been more useful out of the pen, b/c all he was was a mediocre fifth starter who could only go 5-6 innings every outing and is unable to locate his fastball on the inner half of the plate...PLUS, he doesnt have a large enough pitch speed variance from his fastball, hard slider, "change" to get through a lineup three times... Goodbye Scott!

So basically what youre trying to say, is hes as good as on the White Sox as soon as their season ends??? :rolly
