Blache has created an atmosphere where he almost commends players for calling out the officials...Personnally I hope that he leaves for another position just like he wants to. He brings nothing to the table... Unless you like Defensive Coordinators who believe sacks are not an important aspect of playing defense, big hits are not important, and he is the only person in the city of chicago who understands the game of football.

i have nothing but good things to say about Skiles, hes taking control of a team that had no idea what it meant to have an actual head coach. It will take time for the complatency to wear off, and for Pax to get more of his type of players on the team. What hes doing with Curry is great! He needs someone to call him out and get him in actual baskeball shape. Hes been able to get by with natural ability and pure size but if hes ever gonna be a premier player hes gonna have to WORK! And Marcus Fizer he shoots WAY too much and is a liability at the defensive end...basically unless Fizer is hittin is shots (which is rare) hes a complete waste of space out there... Skiles is doing what he has to do to turn them into winners

I'm still been waitin around for some competition for the basketball league!!! All i get offered is the most assanine trades so its REALLY hard to trade in that league... But I love Fantasy Baseball so I'll definitely be in!!!

I think Braden Looper would be a good fit for us...he is from the Chicago area and would at least somewhat solidify the right side of our bullpen which right now doesnt strike fear in two many teams...

Good Post!!! I agree with almost everything you had to say! I'm not sure if Dave Roberts would be the answer to any of our problems, but its a thought... As I've said before I still have no problem moving Magglio, trading him for pitching, signing Jay Payton to take his place really doesnt seem to bad of a move to me...I mean we lose ALOT of offense but by gaining pitching arent we making ourself better?

Not that I claim to know much about Valpo basketball...but Jimmie Miles isnt a transfer from Marquette...hes a true freshmen who went to Rich Central in suburban Chicagoland...The reason i know this is because I watched him play last year...Sweetshooting lefty, will be a solid player!

I was a big Pietrus fan...but as for the other guys you mentioned none of them impressed me. Collison seems like a tall guy with no game, Lampe could eventually be good but he is really young and has played against quality talent, and Dahntay Jones!?!? is he even still in the league? Thusfar I'm happy with Hinrich and right now truly believe he was the best player available... Bosh though...he is gonna be a stud!!

I understand your point SS2K but who was a better potential pick in the draft? Im looking at who was drafted behind Hinrich...who would you rather have? Jarvis Hayes, Michael Sweetney, Brian Cook? I really think they took the BEST player remaining on the board! And I do agree with you Jamal Crawford was a steal at the 8th pick...Because when you look back at that draft it was EXTREMELY weak! He is arguably the best player taken in the lottery that year...

I would agree with you...but the fact is he is putting up solid numbers without the use of Chandler, Curry (for only the past two games), and Pippen. I dont think he will ever have the speed to beat certain PG's off of the dribble but I think he will be able to run the offense and create open shots for his teammates.

I couldnt have put it better myself....I see a bright future for Kirk Hinrich, He has shown soooooooooo much more in 1/4 a season than Jay Williams did all last year!!! His defensive ability and tenacity alone make him a solid player and it seems he is finely becoming comfortable and finding his outside shooting touch... I love the kid!!! I had no idea there were sooooo many anti Hinrich people on soxtalk...and if he was a stretch with the seventh pick who should we have taken instead? I would love to hear...
