I like the idea of seperating a "other sports" board for other chicago area sports teams and keepin a random board for all the other "pressing" issues!!! Because I'm new here but I'm sure once the bulls and lackhawks start playing their games plenty of posting will be goin on about them!!! But what do I know??? Not much

I'm not arguing that JM should stay. The only logical thing they can do is relieve him of his duties. You can't fire the whole team, so the manager is the scapegoat. I've never bought into the whole concept of the manager being the difference maker. They say a good manager can get you what, 6-7 more wins a year. 7 out of 162 are won by the manager. It's done between the line. Just my opinion, of course. Thanks I was just wondering what your opinion on JM was! LOL...but unless my Math is horrible wouldn't seven more wins put us at the top of the division right now? But I do agree that the manager can only do so much!

I agree it is only one article...but this isnt the first time Jon Garland has been called out by JM. And its not only the articles but the way he has been treated by Manuel the entire season.

I actually think the team looks better on a matte or glossy finish rather than just plain paper... But can i ask a serious question Chosk? Are you saying that JM should be given another chance??

Somebody has to back Jon Garland!! Why not US?

Yes, Wasnt it about a month ago when JM called out Jon Garland and said that he had to step up and start pitching to "win" as he put it...this was following a 2-1 loss to detroit I believe. JM forgets that EACH and EVERY time Jon G left the game in the 6th and 7th innings with a runner on first after JM decides to pull him and start his bullpen tinkering those inherited runners SCORED EVERY TIME! Also JM pulled the ol "switcheroo" with Esty and JG last week against the Twinkies moving up the Sick "too drinky" esty loaiza and moving JG back a day to give him even longer between starts...That REALLY turned out great! Loaiza sucked and then Garland didnt look sharp at all after 6 days of rest. Jon G wasnt gettin help from the bullpen, the hitters or the coaching staff! The Best thing for Jonny G is to see Manuel out of there!

Jerry Manuel in a laugher!!! Frankly, I cant put much blame on Kenny Williams. What other GM in this town has tried to do as much as he has done to bring a champion to this city? In a city of the Blackhawks (don't even get me started), the Bears (LOL) and even the post Jordan Era Bulls at least Kenny Williams has made the moves to try and put us at the top!!! This season our team had alot more talent than the Twins. That is Kenny's Job to put the talent on the field. Its JM's job to go out and win and he has shown over the years to have horrible bullpen managment, player relation management, and just a terrible feel for coaching! Say what you want about KW dismantleing our minor league talent and bringin in bad players but its JM who has been the downfall of this team!

I Saw it on Saturday...I normally dont like movies like that but I actually kinda enjoyed it! Sure It was probably the sight of Kate Beckinsale in black leather the ENTIRE movie that swayed my opinion but it was actually a relatively inventive movie... I will say it is nothing groundbreaking or anything and DONT try to analyze the plot line because its just a vampire movie...And it is extremely dark and drab and the character development is lacking but the action, and gore makes up for it...lol I give it a B...2 1/2 stars Check it out!

I posted my white flag post in the fourth inning of the second game of the Sox-Twins Series on Tuesday...come on people Lol...I really thought the Tigers had the Twins number though....

Funny thing is I did get my playoff tickets in the mail the day after the three game sweep....NOT A SURPRISE (SPIT IN MY FACE) lol Cant wait for the refund...lol I'm pumped Call me crazy though I might actually look into season tix for next season...haha Glutton for punishment
