Overpopulation Station.... I say if they really want that many and can take care of them, they can have them but personally I dont understand the point of 15+ kids...
-
HEHE...14/14...all those pop quizzes i used to do good on after not studying came back to haunt me! Guess I speak Idol pretty well
-
I dont see how you can actually think this trade can help the cubs...not that i really care... What do they do with three corner outfielders...they have enough bashers already! As for the sox if they were to make this trade (which the more i think about it wouldnt be to bad) They would improve there starting pitching and give them an additional lefty bat while losing a guy we most likely wont resign anyway and Kelly Wunsch who from all accounts isnt wanted by the higher ups in the White Sox Organization. I mean its fun to discuss but I think im done with this nonsense

That alot of mouths to feed... Is it just me or does anyone feel bad for the child named Jedidiah? Soon her home school will be able to participate in high school sporting events since there attendance increases every year 15 Kids...

Shingo!!! Nice article! Good reading...

UHHHHHHHHHHHH.....You would have to be Sherlock Holmes pipe to make sense out of what they are doing with that starting rotation.... I really couldnt see Grilli coming up to the bigs right now because some of his walk totals in recent games have been flat out ghastly...
-
I almost completely agree with you...Its naive to think that Maggs Bat would help the Cubs...they would be losing there only player with above average speed (although he doesnt steal bases) and their second best starter this year... The Sox would truly have to consider this trade because of the value they would be recieving in both talent and salary...I still probably would need a little more to give up Maggs but there is no way the Cubs would even consider this ridiculous trade
-
The thing I dont understand about this trade is it really doesnt help either team.... The Cubs especially...Where would they play Magglio, Sosa and Alou? Nothing against Maggs defense but that just wouldnt work! Come on Jimmy Greenjeans....you can do better than this trade! I've seen better offers made on the street corner! He must of worked hard to find a trade where absolutely both teams lose out... He must definitely be a Cubs fan to think another power hitter would help their team at this point!?!?!?

Call me CRAZY but I dont see why they have to be rushed up to AA...They both are ultra talented and nothing would do them better than a sucessful season at Winston Salem to boost their confidence and give them that added experience every minor league hitter needs! Dont worry they will be moved up eventually but this kinda thing doesnt happen overnight! Go get them Brian and Ryan!

57 count 'em 57 RUNS during this 7 game road trip
Chisoxrd5 replied to CSF's topic in Pale Hose Talk
When Mr. Reality comes to visit let all all know! The reason the rest of us RATIONAL people are happy with the 5-2 road trip is because if you havent noticed the Twins have handed it to us as of late and it is NEVER easy to win on the road....I just wonder if you have any baseball knowledge whatsoever or your just a little whiny *****.....I'll constrain myself -
:headshake I like Beltran...he will never be in a Sox uniform but I do like him... Anyways Brando is this one of those start a topic to start a neverending argument thread?

Give Timo some playing time he has earned in it my opinion after the way he is played the last two games...its not like we have any better alternatives... As for Crede...Everyone and I repeat Every True Sox fan awaited the arrival of Joe Crede from the minor leagues just two years ago...Hes here now and already we are benching him for a guy whose been here 2 months! I love Uribe he has to play, but to not play Crede whose glove is as good as anyones at third (not the glove itself its old and shiesty) but his defense has been SOLID! He will come along with the bat...he did it last year, he is pressing and swinging for the fences a little too much but hes won three or four games for us already, has he not? Crede will come around...and right now he is our 8 hitter...give him a break

Dont you have to be a "Has" at one point in order to become a "Hasbeen"? Jeromy Burnitz? I dont think that he is the answer to any left handed bat issues...Try and find a guy who can make contact and spray the ball around to all fields...Perhaps a Mark Kotsay type player?!?! Not that Im saying hes is available but that is the type of player we need...not another masher... Burnitz would quickly turn into a bust after he loses his excitement for hitting in coors field the home where careers get resurrected "Shawn Estes, Royce Clayton, Preston Wilson, Vinny Castilla twice, and the beat goes on"

And we ALL wholeheartedly believed in him during spring training!

Overall a great game for the entire pitching staff....Shutting down a prospect laden team! Bajenaru tough in the ninth again! Getting out Weeks, Gwynn and Fielder 1,2,3...Great job Baj! Might I say En Fuego

Yeah that was a Great Read! Thanks to all the guys at Future Sox and especially Jeff Badge-in-arrow for spending the time answering the questions even though i forgot to ask any.......................

Ever see Rondell White Throw a baseball...He has the worst Outfield Arm in the major leagues after his Shoulder Surgery it is almost comical....
-
Benches have cleared a second time.......Louisville pitcher threw a pitch over the head of Reed and the benches cleared....Charlotte radio guy does not sound too happy! I just started listening to the game but from what Ive heard the first fight had punches thrown, Jose Santiago was ejected, Two Louisville pitchers were ejected....

Thanx very informative!!! And completely and utterly useless at the same time!! But it does leave me wondering if you have asparations to become Jayson Stark in your next lifetime...

September Callups are big fun.... However if youre team is making a huge amount of callups it usually means all is lost and youre playin for next year!

Thought this was interesting....Baldwin catches on with the Mets big league club Chicago Tribune-Baldwin The Associated Press Ex-Sox Baldwin back in the bigs May 9, 2004, 10:11 PM CDT The Mets recalled right-hander James Baldwin from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday and optioned rookie Tyler Yates to New York's top minor-league team. I always fill out ballots with players who are actually deserving of the award at each position...Not a huge fan of the fill in all of your home teams players...I mean what chance do any of the Sox players have if every fan filled in a ballot that way? A game featuring nine yankees and nine cubs? Is that what you want... Its an allstar game not a popularity contest...you people who vote for one team all the way down the sheet are the reason why Fans cant be counted on to do the voting...

Despite the fact he has the best fielding percentage by a Shortstop in majorleague history? Personally I think he is more Hall worthy than Barry Larkin but thats just me...Perhaps the best ever at using the barehand to field the baseball
