  1. You're absolutely right. He doesn't like players. Can't respect guys like that.
  2. This dude is nasty. He may not be Hagen Smith nasty but he's definitely nasty.
  3. In the history of baseball an org has never said we have too much pitching. It always works itself out. The Dodgers might be the best org ever and what's the one thing they need? Pitching. I'm not saying the have to take back pitching but if that's the best teams are offering then they have to do it. I don't think it's about being right. I think Robert is going to have a good season because he's actually going to be motivated but all it takes is one freak thing and they get nothing. He hurts his oblique on a swing, he slips on a base and pulls a hammy, he runs into a wall and hurts his shoulder. I think the risk is too great and getting nothing for two players who were supposed to bring back future players would set the org back further.
  4. They need talent. I don't think it matters what type of talent it is and starting pitching depth is very valuable especially at the trade deadline. It would make it much easier to trade guys like Martin or Burke at the deadline if they have starters lined up behind them. I think the risk of getting nothing for Monacada and Robert is too great.
  5. You trade him because your afraid of him getting hurt again and he brings you nothing like Moncada. The Giants have some interesting pitchers and lets face it it's not like the league is knocking down the Sox door saying "take all of our best prospects!!!"
  6. They can afford him and they can really use him. I'm not sure. They're not getting Tibbs. I would love to see them get Dakota Jordan but they seem to be focusing on more contact oriented hitters.
  7. Trade Robert to the Giants and be done with it.
  8. HAVE GOD DAMN SURGERY SO YOU CAN COME BACK AND HELP MY FAVORITE TEAM WIN SOONER YOU SELFISH BASTARD!!!!!!!
  9. I'm with you on Willits. I didn't like the video of Neyens I posted. He has a deep load and it looks like he bars himself. His balance didn't look good either. We'll see what he looks like in game but that video was not very good.
  10. HS and college hitting is good. College pitching is (maybe) avg. HS pitching is below avg. All round should be an avg draft. Yes. There are a number of HS hitters who should be in the mix at 1-10 and most are up the middle players. I like SS Brady Ebel and SS Eli Willits. SS Billy Carlson, SS Kayson Cunningham and SS/CF Sean Gamble will hopefully all be in the mix along with 3B/RF Xavier Neyens.
  11. No worries. You have plenty of time to catch up. Yes LaViolete is in the 1-1 mix. Right now I would say it's 51 Holliday 49 LaViolete. I think the Nats are gonna take the monster upside HS hitter. I hear some have swing and miss concerns but those same people had swing and miss concerns about Bobby Witt Jr if you can believe it. I just think the upside with Holliday is too great to pass up especially if he can stay on the dirt which I think he will. This is going to be a fun spring because there are a number of HS and college hitters to follow. No kidding. This place is a fucking dumpster fire.
  12. Yeah there's no chance LaViolete is there at 1-10. I know it hurt the Sox this year but I like the anti-tanking rule. Spend money to win more games and it won't affect them.
  13. Too bad. I was really pulling for the Times of India to get that scoop.
  14. Sammy Zavala is a bust because of "people", batting avg and Courtney Hawkins.
  15. I think Elias wants a good team for a long time instead of a great team for a short time. He'll keep all his top guys and have really good teams year after year and hope he has the right mix to occasionally win something. That org was so bad for so long I would be surprised if he did go all in on a season.
