  1. He was 19. Over 3 years younger than the avg player. Age relative to league.
  2. 2B- Meidroth SS- Montgomery 3B- Vargas CF- Baldwin
  3. Jack Lausch is absolutely worth seeing. He would've been a top 3 round pick out of HS but he decided to play football. He's missed 2 years but hopefully he picks it back up fast. Bennett Markinson is likely a draft. He's a R/R 1B w/fringe avg power but plus bat to ball skills. The dude does not swing and miss. HIs ceiling is very limited but someone should give him a shot because the bat to ball is outrageously good. That's about it.
  4. I don't think he's a SS and I don't think he's going to hit. He's a bad athlete with a bad swing and that's a really bad combination. Teams draft athletes because it's easier for athletic bodies to make adjustments than it is for stiff bodies. The changes he has made have not helped him become even close to a productive hitter and he's going to have to make more adjustments as he continues to face better and better pitching that his body likely won't allow him to make.
  5. Sheesh. Law makes it sound like Montgomery should give basketball a shot.
  6. Ther draft has to get here before the LIV tour snatches him up.
  7. Madrigal has to go down as one of the worst draft picks in history. He has to be one of the lowest ceiling players ever takin in the top 5 at least in recent draft history. He had zero percent chance of playing SS, zero percent chance of being a high impact base stealer and less than zero percent chance of ever developing power. Just an absolute abomination of a top 5 pick.
  8. I wonder if someone can fail a physical for not being physical.
  9. The Dodgers DFA Braiser. Man they're hangin on to those injured pitchers like grim fuckin death. Well they likely still have at least 3 more moves to make so hopefully they cut one of them loose.
  10. Moncada's's floor is low but his ceiling is so high, I'm holding him until the deadline when everybody wants a bat. If he struggles then so be it, but I'm not selling him at his lowest point unless a team overpays right now, there's way too much talent left in him, let's see if the new coaching staff can get something out of him.
  11. I don't think a good first half moves the meter much. The league is telling them what they think of him and the risk of him getting injured again and bringing back nothing is too great.
  12. If that's what they have to do to get a good player from a team they should definitely do it.
  13. I'm still hoping during spring training a team decides they're a bat short and offers something decent for him.
  14. The Dodgers signed Yates. Hopefully there's an interesting DFA coming.
  15. Law has been doing the backpeddle boogie on Montgomery for a while.
  16. Damn. That likely eliminates the Blue Jays as a potential trade partner for Robert.
