  1. His report? Is this attention starved loser for real??
  2. I thought they should have tendered him a contract. I guess they'll save about $1M. I think they'll get all he has this year.
  3. The Mets wanted them to take back Cano (2yr/$48M) but they refused.
  4. If they bring him back it will be as a starter.
  5. That's not fair. 29 games is a season.
  6. No doubt. I love me a projectable lefty but I'm always dubious of the off season indoor bullpen session. Minus at least 2-3 mph. If he comes out in the spring and is sitting 91-94 he could move into dude status but I would have to see it first.
  7. I don't think a big leaguer is blowing it out in a January bullpen. I also don't think the scouts there are scouting the gun. They're looking to see what kind of shape he's in, how the ball is coming out of his hand and for any signs of discomfort/injury. These guys have long track records where a couple mph in January isn't a big deal.
  8. I'd say he's more of a guy than a dude.
  9. The Sox didn't lose a game started by a left handed pitcher last year and that was with a right fielder who didn't hit anyone. Who gives a shit if Pederson can't hit lefties. They have that covered.
  10. Rodon has never been motivated in his career. I think a team is going to get his best this year.
  11. The only way the Cards take the entire contract is if the Rockies take back a bad contract (Carpenter, Mikolas). That's why the Mets deal fell apart.
  12. The Sox better hope Rodon doesn't throw too good.
  13. Dunno but on a minor league deal it's worth the chance.
  14. Arenado was never a free agent.
  15. He was almost traded to the Mets so had to figure he was going to be moved somewhere though I figured it would be to the Dodgers.
  16. This is ungood.
  17. There never was a dream. Just a fantasy.
  18. I think he's looking at a minor league deal.
  19. They're gonna bring in another starter and a couple on minor league deals. They should have a good shot at Folty.
  20. For me Law is the only guy worth paying attention to. Everyone like those guys.
  21. It depends on how he looks in his bullpen session. He's motivated for the first time in his career so I gotta assume he's going to look good.
  22. It sure would be nice if the Sox gave Crochet a chance to prove him wrong.
