  1. So how are the Sox going to pull off such a trade? Lopez isn’t worth trading. The Sox need to get him right cuz his stuff is good.
  2. Who is our Loaiza? Nova? He’s been too bad to have much value.
  3. With his recent decline, I think I’d rather see him backing up Grandal next year on a one year deal.
  4. Is he worse than Wood, who will only cost money? Yes, so why not just sign some pitchers in the offseason? You yourself have been talking for months about how much money Hahn will have to spend. It seems that you backtrack as the realistic options get worse and worse. Originally, you were expecting Cole and Ozuna. Now it’s Bumgarner and Puig.
  5. Agreed, which is why I’m not surprised these depressing rumors are now making the rounds.
  6. Gonzalez is mediocre to bad. He’s a weak #5 pitcher whereas Alex Wood can be signed for just money and could be a #3 starter.
  7. So Hahn is going dumpster diving before the offseason even starts?
  8. Probably. AAA numbers are probably juiced up more than AA stats because they are using the same juiced MLB ball. I wonder how much AAA stats are even used to analyze players now.
  9. Stone probably realized he went overboard on his initial shots at the fans, especially with how putridly the Sox proceeded to play after his comments. Stone is right about needing a lefty power bat but they can really only do this at catcher (Grandal), RF, And 1B/DH. I believe all the free agent RF options are right-handed bats though (Ozuna, Puig, Castellanos. And they also need to sign two starting pitchers.
  10. It’s just like anything else. The money is hugely scaled up but does an everyday employee accept a similar job for $75K from one company when they get offered $90K for the same role with another company? No. And your point makes it all the more important for free agents to get the most money they can. Players get about one or two chances at free agency. Once after 6 years with their original team when they are still in their prime and one when they are older in their 30’s.
  11. It’s like the movie The Matrix. If you don’t know any better, it’s an amazing dream. In his world, Eloy and probably Abreu are both better than Moncada. Greg will never take the red pill.
  12. Once again, amazing timing for Steve Stone to be snarky to the fans. What a boner.
  13. Greg fails at all logic and reason. You just have to accept that when you interact with him. It is what it is. And don't try to prove him wrong with stats, cuz then you are an evil Statnik who can't be trusted!
  14. Ron's following and support is picking up steam, much to Greg's chagrin.
  15. Oh well, too bad. That is the way most free agents are. They want the biggest contract. Why should any top player sign with the White Sox otherwise? Because of their long history of winning? Because the Sox offer the most money? What would it be?
  16. It's okay, watching Abreu's pathetic performance at the plate will easily allow them to "clean house" and puke up all that junk food. 0 or 4 with a strikeout and 5 men left on base. Batting Average down to .266 and OPS down to .787. It's okay though, he can suck as much as he wants because the Sox aren't in competition for the Wild Card.
  17. 🤣🤣🤣 Just remember, the more you defend the White Sox, their front office, and their crappy players, the better a fan you are.
  18. Man, I'm shocked Yolmer made the final out...
  19. Apparently, you do need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure it out...
  20. Nelson Cruz was busted for roids. The only comparisons to Cruz at his age of 38/39 and other guys still hitting homeruns at his age are Barry Bonds, David Ortiz, Rafael Palmeiro, and Mark McGwire... all known roiders. Maybe you are just wrong?
  21. Embarrassing that Stone, Benetti, and Garfien are even entertaining stories about Cruz becoming a better hitter with age. What a bunch of clowns.
  22. Another hit for Cruz. Amazing. It's like he is getting better with age. LOL.
  23. Thank you for proving my point. 😉 All the guys that did what Cruz is doing right now around his age of 38/39, were known roiders. Greg is clueless as always.
