The bottom half of our lineup has me anticipating the Engel at bat. That's probably not a good thing.?

I agree that lefty swings are usually more aesthetic. Made me think of how for righties Dick Allen had that quality. Made it look easy.

When we get Robert & Madrigal mixed into this lineup...this is going to be a typical night of offense.

As I understand it the umpire is still standing there with an earpiece telling him what to call and make other calls, etc.

Made Yolmer look like a guy playing in some after work league.

Fox was what the prototypical #2 hitter was in the good old days. Be able to take lots of pitches giving the lead off hitter a chance to steal...bat control to hit behind the runner or hit and run...high average and hard to strike out. I like Madrigal for all those traits. Because Madrigal is such a SB threat he will probably used as leadoff but would fill the 2 hole in the lineup very well IMO. I know that thinking has changed with time but I still prefer the old concept because you were often leading after the first inning.

Need to extend Jose at a reasonable dollar amount (12-14 million per year) for 2 years preferably. If Jose won't go for that...trade him. Don't end up empty handed in the off season. I want nothing to do with a qualifying offer.

Not bad...get Robert & Madrigal up and I find it very watchable.
