  1. Tale of the tape: Nova, Fulmer give up 8 ER, Abreu silenced again.
  2. Dont do that you are going to miss a good one, we need you!
  3. I thought it was non sense and overdone. No sportsmanship. Kind of rubbing it in to the opposing team.
  4. So your opinion is superior? Ok, I cannot talk about this anymore, its railroading this thread.
  5. Thanks for bringing this up again. The absolute truth there is that homosexual acts are intrisically evil, and the homosexual inclination is disordered. And there is such a thing as scandalizing the young. But If you want to talk about these things then you can private message me, its not for this thread.
  6. yes I have. There is a virtue that exists whether we believe it or not, the virtue I described is sportsmanship. Ok, back to the subject my friends.
  7. Once again, there is a virtue called sportsmanship. Its not relative to what people believe. Its really exists.
  8. Minory, majority means nothing. I dabble in the truth.
  9. I agree with you here. I do think he went a little over the top but not to get plunked.
  10. Lets get one thing straight. Just because the NFL or NBA allows for 5 minute dances in the end zone doesnt make it right. I got mad when the Bears players did all types of silly skits after they scored a TD.
  11. Its called sportsmanship, and yes it is a virtue. Professional sports teams should seek after it.
  12. There is a virtue and its called sportsmanship. Doing a 5 minute dance in the end zone after a touchdown, is not sportsmanship. Players getting into fights is not sportsmanship. Doing a bat flip directed at taunting the other team, is not sportsmanship. What TA did, was maybe a little over the top, ok, but lets have some clemency and not kill the guy over a toss of the bat. What KC did was worse since they could have injured our player.
  13. Exactly..and he doesn't do it every time either,he just felt hot after he walloped that ball.
  14. Baez is they guy that's always screaming, not a fan of his.
  15. It a KC player threw a bat towards our dugout and made a nasty look at our players it would be different. If Dozier hit a HR and did what Anderson did I may say "settle down big boy," but wouldn't bean him in that situation. Although Dozier doesn't seem like a player that would do that anyways.
  16. We left on many baserunners, I think it was 13 or something.
  17. Consider the circumstances, TA is coming into his own and having a breakout year so far, so that HR for him was emotional. Plus sportsmamship was still intact because the bat throw wasn't directed at the other team. There is an edicate of the game not to let emotions fly when the time is not right. I remember the Yankee players last year, it may have been game one of the playoffs and a player led the 2nd inning off with a double and was screaming to the heavens with his mouth wide open like a nut. I didn't think that was appropriate for that situation.
  18. I don't think this is Anderson playing celebrity. It's Anderson showing us who he is. And that's fine, as long as it's not overdone.
  19. Tim Anderson is the Dennis Rodman of this team. Someone in the clubhouse will need to control him, He gets under opposing teams skin. I'm for it as long as it's controlled.
