Stinks Eloy is hurt already and looks terrible defensively. On the positive note, this gives the Sox a chance to look at and evaluate other players(guys like Cordel,Engel, Delmonico), and gives these players a chance to step up and help the team win now and after Eloy returns.

From what I seen in those videos, he has way less bat movement before the pitch this year than last year. Less herky jerky bat movement means he has time to be shorter and quicker to the ball, timing is better.

Jones looked super electric a few years ago, and he was younger, but he just can't get it together any more as far as health. He does have a 3.48 era this season. I didn't know he was that old being 33. It may be time to give someone else a chance.

If I may put a positive spin on this, I like this move alot. It shows the White Sox want to have the most ready players at the Major League level regardless of how much the players makes. It shows the White Sox care about winning now. Santana was not ready this season to pitch at the ML level. Even if he goes to another squad and does well, it was the best move for us at this time.

That's really who we should have started the season with..Fulmer, Covey....but I would have probably signed Nova if I thought he was going to pitch his usual 4era. I think Hahn just wants to deal guys for prospects and doesn't care about the current team and chemistry. Which is unfortunate.

I'd leave him back in AAA for player control unless one of our starting pitchers continues to get constantly bombed 1)Rodon 2)Lopez 3)Giolito 4)Santana 5)Nova
