  1. Was it? or was it Hahn wanting a trade later in season because he constantly wants farm talent?
  2. Here is the thing: Hahn thinks we are all crazy to be complaining because this is the rebuild and he thinks its ok to lose. I dont agree. We have to build an attitude of winning and good baseball. Hahn would rather not make the playoffs this season and get a better pick. We can see thats how this team plays on the field. Ricky cant be Ricky if the higher ups keep telling him its ok to lose.
  3. There are players on this TB team that can draw walks: Diaz, Pham, Heredia, Choi. Pitchers cant play around outside the zone with these guys because they know how to take close pitches. Attack IN the zone.
  4. We get the audio for free atleast. Love listening to DJ and Farmer.
  5. Naw, we will need him when we contend for the playoff spot this season.
  6. Scouting Report on TB: Not a super power hitting team but TB lineup have some good hitters that seem like they can hit you to death. Diaz a very good hitter who can draw the walk, a great pick up by TB. Pham another good hitter who can pretty much do it all. Choi coming out smoking batting .370 Austin Meadows not 100% MLB tested but has proven to be a good hitter in the minors, can have some pop. Avi Garcia's return... TB starting pitchers are lights out so far and their pen has been terrific too with 4 pitchers yet to give up a run in over 21 total innings pitched. Hence they are 7-3. Rodon needs to be stellar, we may need to manufacture some runs. Go Sox! https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/TBR/2019.shtml
  7. Yes Cordell over Palka, he is better defensively and is currently hitting the ball harder.
  8. 7 earned runs by Nova was the tale of this tape. He needed to step up vs a hot team.
  9. Or just want to go home and play on a computer. They called Dee out too.
  10. Usually Coops pitchers are pretty good and ready to pitch. Could Coop be burned out or is too early to make these claims?
  11. Smart baserunning by Gordon, messing with the rookie.
  12. We are working this guy, what's his pitch count up to?
  13. Use the Spring training hats, and a new 2020 futuristic Jersey for next seasons alt Sunday unis.
  14. Good point about Rondon, I didn't know he had that much power. Although Anderson's power is more proven. That's why Renteria gets paid to be manager and I don't. ? If that's the case since Anderson has more speed he fits better #1. Maybe Rondon will go yard today?
  15. It's not bad to have power in the leadoff hitter as long as the #2 has more power. To bat Rondon after Anderson is silly because we want people on base in case Anderson goes yard.
  16. If Anderson could draw the walk and hit for a higher average he could leadoff and be followed by Moncada at #2. That's seems a little lethel.
  17. I probably would have went with Engel or Rondon batting first. Anderson has too much power to lead off followed by Rondon who has little power. Anyways, let's take this rubber match!
  18. Giolito should just stick to his game plan. I listened to Garfien podcast with him. Pretty good, although I hope he was kidding about rubbing the Satchel Paige statue for superstition. Just play the game players and knock off the superstition!
  19. And just think how big Frank's zone was. Very impressive hitter he was.
  20. 0 walks for Sox hitters is troubling.
  21. Carbrera is a Hall of famer but still not as good as hitter as Frank. If Eloy becomes Cabrera I would be absolutely thrilled. I see Eloy more compared to poor man's Josh Donaldson, although Eloy did hit for high average in the minors.
  22. We need baserunners, lots of baserunners
  23. 1 run would be good, 2 would be great in this inning.
