MOTHERF*CKING B*TCHASS DIPSHIT PASSIONLESS SOX!!!!
cwsox replied to BridgeportHeather's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I laughed at that - when on Fridays I am laoding the car with my prepacked bvag of Sox gear and my always packed travel bag, I get asked a lot about what is wrong with me - and I use both those lines - I have no life and I have nothing better to blow my money on! And certainly if I had a bit of, ah, action, going on tonight I wouldn't even be on line now - now that is something I'd like to do at the Cell by the way But let's face it, we are more familiar with being at the Cell than we are in our own living rooms, and that's the way we like it! -

I know - Soxheads is our Iowa State fan - in fact I was playing Cyclone football highlights tonight - and Heather, somewhere tonight I called out those in the Cook, Will, DuPage, Kane, and Mchenry county area, not downstaters, who are not employed or dead or under 16. But if you ever want to go and have a ride on a weekend and it is one of those that I cannot make, email me and I'll get you into the upper deck, with wandering the whole ball park priviledges! Half price night has got to suck being on a Tuesday and being in school downstate. Then again, transfer! There must be some college somewhere in Chicago! Unless you are at ISU to be far away from your parents. Then you earn a lifetime exemption for missing tonight's game! -

Cannot argue with that. Isn't it about time we changed that french sounding name off that city and gave it a new, more accurate, name? NoSelfville? City of NeverSeenAnNCAAtitleExceptOnTV? Knucklehead Town? Des Jerks? Oh, that sounds too french, forget that one. -

You and GUG and it sounds like Steff are role models for all of us. Never you give an excuse for the rare game you miss. Cheer my boys on for me! (That's one for each!) -

Thats cool, thank you, and I didn't mean to blast you at all. I too am frustrated as hell. It kills me to be so far away from Chicago when the Sox need us most. No matter what we legitimately feel or think, our job is to cheer them on and inspire them with our support as we want them to do for us. I am really hurting tonight so sorry for being intemperate in my reply. However if you go to school in Champaign, then I take it all back! -
how about clayton hitting for the cycle?

No, as far as fan talk goes. Damn it HSC I am pissed as hell and not, my love at you. Everyone moans about what cubs fans say and then they sit on their asses at home and don't go to the biggest home game of the year on a Friday night. Oh that's right, everyone rented Jackass and had to stay home to see that. We expect players to show up for the games but not the fans. As you know, I am not aiming this at you, who attend 90% of all home games and bring everyone you can with you. I am aiming this at everyone in Cook, lake, Will, McHenry, and Kane county who was 1. not dead and 2. not gainfully employed this evening or 3) not yet 16 years old. Where the f*** were you all? I dare everyone to go tomorrow or Sunday, if not both, or shut the f*** up about how this team is playing because if you are not there to see it, you have no right to talk about it. And no excuses. Sunday is kids day. There is no one here who is alive, employed and 16 or over who can't scrap together admission and mileage. People got something to say, they should say it at the ballpark while cheering the Sox when they need us most.

Oh just pass 420 a joint and some munchies and leave him alone. I am really none too keen on Sanders, Rios, PK and Jose tonight. Blame them. By the way, what ever happened with BrandoFan showing up? Did he make it and was it in British or Russian? -

If they care about the game, they go. Damn it, I live 205 miles away and had f***ing bronchitis all week and missed 3 days of work and had to go to work today and kept thinking damn it, I couldn't make the game because of all that. I had friends calling me tryng to figure outweekend arrangements for going to the Cell tomorrow and saturday., Don't throw that Remember Sox fans show up to watch games and see their team win, not get drunk and find a girl to bang every night. Sox fans actually care about the game, not the "cute atmosphere". bulls*** at me. By that standard, Cubs fans are far and away f***ing superior to us because for whatever reason they f***ing go instead of f***ing sit at f***ing home and f***ing whine all f***ing night long. Tonight I am ashamed of my fellow fans as I have never been in my life and any real fan will be at the Cell tomorrow and Sunday unless they have some extraordinary reason not to go. Fans show up. They f***ing show up. They show up. I'll check the boards on Monday and look at the names of everyone who posts during the games on Saturday and Sunday and unless they live out of state, they will go on my list of Big Mouth No Go Fake Fans. -
thank you HSC. Lot of living in the past. Too damn bad Schueler signed Navarro instead of Clemens. As you say, Kipper was a deer in the headlights. Even Tanyon Sturtze wins the occasional game and even Royce hits the occasional home run.

Tell Daubach to hit something better than .053 Tell Jose to stop reading his press clippings and blaming others when an errorless game is a wonder from him. Tell Koch to put a little curve in that ball rather than lay it over the middle all fat and easy. You got what you all wanted. Daubach. Jose. Koch. Maybe it is them, not JMs fault. -

I do not agree this short season thus far is a blueprint of 2001 or 2002 which were very disappointing for very different reasons - I cannot agree that the Twins are that much inferior to us on paper. I have seen a lot worse teams than this. Which is not to say that I am very unhappy with the game tonight, and with this week as a whole. Last week I was happier. PK is batting terribly. Daubach is what, a joke? Rowand is hitting worse than he ever has. White, Kock, and Gordon have been huge disappointments. The season is a long way from gone. What was Anaheim's record one year ago? I am not making October reservations at the moment. but this is not the f***ing end of the world. In 2001 and 2002 JM pulled a team together that was in a slump. He can do it again. But the fault lies with the team. The manager only really wins a handful of games a year. It was not JM who didn't get a hit until the 6th, or make errors, or fail to bunt ala Rios, or hit into a double play, and all the college rah rah Knute Rockne "fire up big team" speeches in the world won't make a difference. My real problem is all the constant JM bashing over and over since 2000 has left me unable to hear the same people bashing him again and again and again. As far as I remember, we won 2 divison championships (essentially) in 93 and 94 and we got off slowly in 1995 so we fired a manager of the year winner to replace him with Bevington and where did that get us? If firing a manager was a panacea, I'd fire one 162 times a year. Maybe we need a new manager. I am baffled as to why David Sanders came into the game, unless JM wanted to see what he could do, that is what sanders is in the majors for, and everyone here was praising him when he was called up. So do I listen to the people who constantly bash a manger who took us to a division title? Do I keep complaining about not following up 2000 when I see Pinella win 116 in 2001 and fail again in the palyoffs which he missed last year with a loaded team? Do I trust KW to make an intelligent decison? Do I trust my felow posters who sing St JosE6's praise? Don't we always win with St JosE6? Isn't JM playing him exactly like he has beegged to? So if you all are right that St JosE6 is the 600% winning man, why are we flailing this week? Do i trust my fellow posters who praised Sanders who made a horrid pitch after the stupid error? I don't what to think at this moment, I really don't, but my keel is very even despite my disappointment at today's game. But if we only had 14,000 show up, what does that say to the players? Where the f*** was everyone? They sure as hell weren't cheering for the Sox on a Friday night playing our arch rival. -

This early in the season you are proclaiming Baker the manager of the year? If I didn't like you so much i would say something in green here. -

you're supposed to be at the game, not posting - no wonder we lost did I hear right that attendance was 14,000 tonight? Please tell me I am wrong. That is just pathetic if that is right. Hell, the 1970 Sox outdrew that on a Friday night. And actually, no one is a real fan unless you lived through 1970 and stayed a Sox fan - it is no excuse that you all weren't born then - -
I saw it! I saw it! I hate being right sometime.

maybe it is just my remarkably advanced age as opposed to most of you - but you never survive by dying this much over each game in a 162 game schedule year after year after year - I am not at all happy with the way we are playing this week - but I don't get that up or that down - preserves my emotional state - we are still in 2nd and still above 500 and no reasonto panic yet - and I just looked up the batting averages - not only why is Rowand struggling and PK hitting like its May not April but what did Boston know about Daubach that we didn't? And I am very unhappy with Rios not being able to bunt. -

excuse me, I thought i was at BlackHawk zone for a minute reading about the Black Hawks - we are playing defense like s*** in one inning and no offense all game and not a good week, but how will you all handle it if: the Sox come back and win this game? we win tomorrow and Sunday? we slip below 500? aren't the opinions a little harsh this early in the season for an over 500 team? -
Hi Psycho! I know I owe you an email - I can't complain about MB giving up 3 runs on 5 hits in 7 innings - but that 8th inning was pathetic and Frank has been just fine - I can't bash Rowand when the whole team is batting like s***. Someone asked the other when Rowand became the new Royce Clayton - I wonder that too - he is not the only one not playing at an all star level by any means -
-
You can't count that high for either equation. But neither can I. Nor anyone.
-
Frank hit one - and got hit - St JosE6 again - sloppy eight inning play to blow the game open - Frank has done ok the other 8 can go stick it though and I am not very fond of this david sanders right now

Steff, I agree with you. Upgrade the right way. Have I ever sat with HSC in seats that I didn't pay for? Yes of course. HSC's situation is different. She has seats down there and I was her guest and between HSC and GUG and other people with tickets there who had welcomed me, I felt very comfortable. Have I ever helped myself to a box seat that I didn't pay for? The first time I was miserable the whole game, constantly worried I'd get nabbed. The second time was on 6 April with Mathew, but we sat with two friends of mine and the day before, the ushers in the Upper Deck asked us to go downstairs and sit about where we did so they could move people down. So I had the WS' permission. And I have also sat in the club level with other friends. I also did that last time I was at Comerica - and talk about your pick of seats - although it was impossible to get anywhere between the dugouts due to their security but sitting in the outfield area boxes was easy. So I guess I am not against moving to a more expensive seat per se - but it is the sense of entitlement, I buy a cheap seat and I have a right to sit where I want and damn the Sox for changing not letting me do that - that is what I can't accept. So I guess move if you can, if you want, if it is possible, but no one's rights have been taken away by this. You buy a ticket that entitles you to sit where your seat is, nothing more or less. Any freebies that don't come your way, too damn bad.

I don't understand the phrase "Comiskey upgrade in jeopardy." The upgrades to the park are not in jeopardy as far as I can see and couldn't imagine why. Otherwise I echo HSC on it is if you want to sit on the lower deck, then buy the ticket. It is $8.00 more I guess but what the hell. And we have fun in the upper deck and the bashing of it gets old. I've sat in the upper deck reserve many times when that is all I could afford and I have survived. Now that I can do upper deck box on a seasons ticket plan, I figure that I paid my dues for many years and I am glad that my access to the whole aprk is not restructed. That's not fair to some? Hell, life ain't fair. No such thing as a free lunch. You get what you pay for. No ticket, no laundry. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat? I have run out of cliches.

depotation follows any crime for which moral character is involved - and intentionally throwing at an animal or bird just for the hell of it, especially when it takes 6 tries if that is right as reported here, and is an endangered species - if those who want to decide to, this can b a crime involving moral character. There is no excuse for throwing at a bird, a mesting bird, an osprey. Those are magnificant creatures. I live in hunting country (western Michigan) and no one here would think at all about going after a bird like that just for the hell of it.
