very, very, very true - it takes a few years to judge a draft at least a few years

    Grossman!

A 60 minute game is not lost on one play, not hardly. Many plays, made and unmade, win or lose a game.
  3. congrats my friend! email me the details!
  4. I know - but still, don't want him in the dugout - he has his own life now anyhow that I doubt he would give up to be manager
  5. no way ever no way ever - he was so bad as GM - he put Fisk in left - and that was his best f*** up of the club other than firing LaRussa
  6. No change in manager for me - but if - no way valentine who destroyed the Mets Backman - yes Kimm - no- no good track reciord at all and ex Cub factor Harold - not qualified - no experience - was he ever considered a future manager by anyone? Not that I ahve heard ever. Wrong personality. Maybe as a coach - but not manager.
  7. but miles isn't tearing it up in AAA is he? Or is my info wrong?

    Garland

i say we still go with JG - he pitched well on saturday and the ball on the ass pitch may what he needed and the team needed to put JG's head in the game and eliminate the deer in headlights thing - I think this is his start to a consistent if not hot rest of the year
  9. that drives me crazy when everyone despairs - no way to survive a 162 game schedule with such angst at each loss - if we win 100, we'll still lose 62 - so never, ever panic -
  10. KC 0-3 Det 3-0 Cle 2-1 Det 2-1 KC 2-1 Cle 2-2 Bal 1-2 Mon 2-1 we only had one bad series -
  11. as soon as our game ended, seeing the threrad title here, I switched games - glad I did! I had a gut feeling to go tot eh KC version and not the Toronto version because I wanted to hear them whine - heard the last two runs and it was sweet! I was confused for a moment when the game was pronounced over the other way because what I was hearing was contrary - but what the hell, all is well and things are as they should be
  12. lol maybe the ledge jumping is something we should keep doing ....it seems to work for us huh............ I hate the ledge, I am afraid I'll fall! Hold me....
  13. Thanks for the reminder - that's why one has to stay more on an even keel than ride such highs and lows - this was a big series for us becuse we finally took a series from the twinkies and we needed to do that - and if we take all of our series on a 5-2-1 basis we will do quite well -
  14. depends how they handle it - hopefully, not well - two pitchers with really lousy stats and some shoddy defense - we'll see what they do with adversity
  15. You're too inteligent to be a troll, you likely posted rational thought, trools do not, you are aquitted on all charges. I have ruled. thank you for your confidence!!!! it was very short and sweet - we have just been trolled by them so much and all I really wanted was to see how they saw the Garland thing and their f***ing smug arrgance got to me - however at the end of today's game they are all crying -

seemed to me the Florida defense gave up a lot of points in 2002
  18. hell, I knew - I had the MLB radio broadcast on - and I listened to the KC announcers because I wanted to hear them whine - they are not happy - poor babies -
  19. game is over - for a few minutes now Boroa made the final error which allowed the winning run final 10-9
  20. they blew it completely - the KC announcers are none too happy with thier level of play - 8 runs given up the last 2 innings
  21. ON A ROUTINE PLAY, THREW THE BALL AWAY 6 runs in 9th for Jays to beat Royals
