  1. Win, lose or draw this was a stupid move.
  2. Yeah, he's been there and done th "Ain't Gonna Make that same mistake again".
  3. Dunning's mechanics are on-par with Giolito's. Cooper needn't. Memo to Cease / Lopez: Take copious notes.
  4. So what does KC want for Soler ?
  5. He takes care of EE's parrot.
  6. Yes we saw that Burdi and Cease didn't we ? This org does not believe in sybermetrics or the mechanics of pitching.
  7. Who allows these guys to come into a game with such terrible mechanics ? What do they think is likely to happen ? This is what gets revealed when the Sox don't hit a minimum of 5 homers.
  8. Kenny-Hahn in love with guys that can throw 100 mph and nothing else.
  9. Classic Renteria Piss-Away Look and Feel..
  10. Cease and Lopez need a different approach to pitching the current pitching coach cannot offer them. Giolito had to get fixed outside the organization. The same may be true of them. I hope they don't screw with Dunning. His mechanics are fine. But I've beating the drum of a perspective change for Lopez and Cease for over a year now. Outside of his extraordinary duties for Reinsdorf, Cooper is useless.
  11. I would have Rey-Rey watch film of Bob Gibson and Fergie Jenkins. He needs to stop being on so pensive. Just get the friggin' ball and throw it. Somebody, somewhere is gonna get this guy straight. He has an arsenal of pitches.
  12. I got emotional when Giolito and McCann embraced. That should have been a perfect game. Watching those two work together was special.
  13. That was a dominant pitching performance. Lucus had great command from the first pitch. Some no-hitters are flukes. This was no fluke. And Kenny-Hahn needs to talk with the guy that help turned Giolito around. If he could do that with Lopez - that would be quite a haul from the Nats. I was thoroughly impressed with Dunning.
  14. I fully understand the Sox weren't going undefeated. But it's THESE games that reveal deficiencies. They have a clear and present deficiency at field management. Allowing one-trick pony Sox-killer Schwarber to beat you in that instance is inexcusable.
  15. For all you RR apologists. these are the kind of games that reveal the in-game strategic capabilities of your manager.
  16. Right now Dunning the third best starter they have but there is the rehab concern. I was very impressed with his debut. Great mechanics and mound presence. He was definitely the sleeper in the Eaton trade
  17. Most satisfying win of the season
