what i can see happening with the Sox is that all these free agent pitchers start signing with all the different teams and the market for Cease drys up. with such, contact the orioles and make a deal

I see no reason why to wait, the teams who are going to spend the money, will do exactly that, they will find a pitcher. Getz should have every team give their best offer and go from there

So are we at a point where the teams going after Cease have made their offers and Getz and his staff our deciding what if any of the offers to take?

i just don’t think this is the time to trade Eloy, i’d prefer they roll the dice and see if he starts the season out red hot, then trade him at that time. his trade value is probably at its all time low at this time, the current return package wouldn’t be good.

is there anytime frame on the Y Rodriguez signing? All indications point to this team rebuilding, would this young man be a good rebuilding sign?

of this too 50 list, i hope they land at least 4 of these players. it’s time for this organization to start being accountable to their fans. in my 55 + years of watching this team only twice did they shock me with a off season signing. one was Carlton Fisk the other was Albert Belle. We deserve better!!!!

if this team is truly serious about competing next year, they need to go out and get two quality free agent starting pitchers in order to have any chance. How about Snell & Flaherty!!

if during this off season the Tigers decided to put Javy Baez on the market would you want the Sox to take a run on him? What if they agreed to eat half of his salary? i’m guessing Detroit would agree to about any trade for him. i know his numbers are BRUTAL with the Tigers, but is there a chance this guy can turn it around?

My point with Jared Kelly is that he was supposed to be a steal draft pick in the second round and after a few years he’s not even a top 30 prospect anymore. Something is not right about this?

Not sure why Elko is not on the top 30 list. Also not good to see Jared Kelly is completely off of the top 30 list. Hopefully this young man can turn it around.

Chris Getz is not the answer if Hahn is fired. Look at their current farm system, it’s a mess. basically no players get better they either stay stagnant or they get worse. Cespedes is a classic example of a player who gets worse every year!!

where both Hahn and the entire White Sox organization failed was at the different mlb drafts. we tanked for all of those years yet basically nothing came out of their low picks. Fulmer, Collins, Madrigal, Vaughn (yes, Vaughn is fair at best) have all failed. you cannot miss on all of those first round picks and expect to win, yet the white Sox did. Add in the fact that they are incapable of developing any talent and you have an organization that is an absolute disaster!!!!

How many ways can we find away for our top prospects to underperform? You would have thought between Moncado, Jimenez, Roberts, Madrigal and Vaughn one of them would have been a true superstar. at this point, it’s not even close.

it’s getting to a point where i absolutely know that moncado will NOT get a hit when he’s up. maybe a demotion to Triple A needs to happen
