    The Dark Knight

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 10:19 AM) Its already down that path, Scarecrow and Ras Al Ghul, Joker and Two Face But it is different. They weren't full blown villains. In The Schumacher movies, they have 10 minutes of back story than boom, crap. Nolan builds those guys up than they become villians, except the Joker but the fact he has no backstory is what makes him great.

I'd love to see Depp as the Riddler. I never was a fan of the Penguin character. I don't know if I would like this series of Batman films to go down the path like the previous series with multiple villains. Clogs things up IMO.

    Entourage

QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 01:11 AM) I believe it was one of the best episodes in atleast two seasons. Great way to start off. Like the Republican National Convention, this episode reenergized the fanbase and took the nation by storm. I loved the episode, but I didn't get annoyed and laugh as much as I did during the RNC.

    Entourage

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 8, 2008 -> 01:58 PM) Where is this mystical part of Mexico that is filled with super hot horny women all the time, oh and jet skis. Everytime I go to mexico all I see is dudes selling silver crap, fat tourists getting their hair braided, and knock off american food disguised by a mexican name. Only Drama knows where that spot is.
  5. Going to night game tomorrow, those afternooners better be out of the lot when I get there. I got a red parking pass, baby!

    Entourage

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Sep 8, 2008 -> 08:45 AM) Don't photograph me from the right side ever. I wonder how good this show would be without Drama. I like the fact that Vince's career is in the s***s. Makes for better TV.
  7. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Sep 8, 2008 -> 06:17 AM) Hilarious rundown of the game by deadspin http://deadspin.com/5046506/sunday-night-f...all-bears+colts Talk about jumping to conclusions.
  8. Y2J is your new World Heavyweight Champion. Poor Punk. Hope no Wellness Policy violation.
  9. Never thought we could win tonight. Hoped to be competitive, never thought we would win. Great job all around. Maybe someday people will get off Lovie's back and realize he is the best coach we have had since Ditka. National media will shove it down our throats that Manning was rusty and other BS. We took it to them and rocked their faces.
  10. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Sep 7, 2008 -> 07:04 PM) So in my Speech Communication 101 class we had to give speeches about ourselves to start the class off, and this girl came up and started talking about how she loved the Republican party, and as an independent (mainly because I feel too young and dont know enough about the parties to really justify picking one, and I would much rather make my decisions based on how I believe rather than a party belief etc.), I was excited to hear what she had to say regarding the GOP. I have never really talked to a real GOP backer, except for one teacher whom I loved to talk to about politics, and thought it would be great to learn about why she loved the party when everyone around her is a democrat (when you live in college towns as I have its hard not to be surrounded by dems). What I learned from her is: 1) If youre not Republican, youre not American. 2) Her parents were Republican and therefore she was too, and cried when Clinton won even though it was way back in elementary school. 3) She loves Pres. Bush because he's really cool and cute. 4) Loves the Iraqi war, no reason given. 5) Hates Obama, she gets sick even at the mention of him, and cant shop at Hollister anymore even though its her favorite store because they were selling Obama shirts, 8 of them!! 6) She basically said "Im a tool, Im a tool, a tool, tool, tool, an unbelievably annoying tool" (yes, its that guy from Scrubs) Im worried about our future... Thread is useless without pics.
  11. I dig some Faith Hill but thought they would go with a new open singer every year.
  12. QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ Sep 7, 2008 -> 06:11 PM) Time for the Patriots to call Vinny Testaverde out of retirement. Wonder if they would go after Brady Quinn or something.

    What do i do?

Your a freshmen in college...at SIU. Do the same thing she is doing but with girls. You're young.
  14. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Sep 7, 2008 -> 05:43 PM) I'm basically f***ed in fantasy if Brady is out. Wooooo I'd pick up Delhomme if he is free in your league.
  15. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Sep 7, 2008 -> 05:16 PM) http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ms-b...o&type=lgns Brady might be done. Knees aren't meant to go that way when he got hit. Had to be bad. Lets see how much of a "genius" Bellicheck is now.
  16. Barring a rotation switch up, we miss Liriano.
  17. Thanks, Tigers. Now start sucking.
  18. Don't tell Hawk, Gardy PH'd for Gomez in the 8th with Pridie.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 7, 2008 -> 02:51 PM) Bad loss....no more of these joke lineups. Fields is just terrible at baseball now, I don't think his heart is actually in it. Saunders was getting that outside corner to righties all day. Wonder how he would of pitched against a lefty or two.
  20. I'll take 2 out of 3 against the Angels any series. Go Detroit.
  21. That was a great pitch to hit for Swish. He opened up and everything.
  22. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 7, 2008 -> 03:47 PM) Swing the f***ing bat. Those were two tough pitches to do anything with.
