September 11, 200817 yr What goes on your favorite? Fewer than 100 replies to this thread will greatly disappoint me.
September 11, 200817 yr Sub style white bread, swiss cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, turkey. Toasted and melty. Yum.
September 11, 200817 yr Cracked Pepper Turkey, Cabot Cheddar, Garlic Pickle Slices, Hellmans Mayo, Guldens Brown Mustard on Trader Joe's Foccacini.
September 11, 200817 yr The Potbelly's Italian is my new favorite. I believe it's salami, pepperoni, capicolla, mayo, mustard, hot giardinara, lettuce, tomato, pickle on white sub roll. Must order with double meat
September 11, 200817 yr I have rekindled my love affair with the classic turkey club sammich in recent years. White toast and it needs to have that extra slice of toast in the middle. Piled high with good deli turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. Light mayo, cut into quarters on the diagonal with one of those celophane-topped toothpicks jammed into each quarter. That's some good eats right there. I also love me big-arse ham muffuletta, oyster po-boys, a big wet Italian beef with hot gardinaire, and the perfect fried grouper sammich they used to make at DeLuxe pool hall and grille in Champaign when it was still in business. I just started back on a damn diet after doing well and then relapsing into my fat ways (which is why my Biggest Loser sig is sadlyfrozen in time). Now I'm starving and can't have any of those wondrous constructions.

September 11, 200817 yr My wife makes what she calls a "Special Sammich." When she first told me about it, it sounded kinda icky, but then... Basically, make a grilled cheese and add an egg and peanut butter. When you are drunk or hungover, it's the cure to what ails ya! Mmmmm...
September 11, 200817 yr Subway: Tuna, Provolone, Lettuce, Green Peppers, Pickles, Cucumber, Salt/Pepper, Oregano. And here's the kicker. Toasted. Yes, toasted tuna is the greatest tasting delight subway has to offer. Places other than subway... it depends...

September 11, 200817 yr QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 11, 2008 -> 04:40 AM) It really depends on where the sandwich is from. ^^^^ I really have to go with that answer, but a few of my favorites are Panera's Tuscon Chicken Sandwich ( I think they may have taken it off the menu, bastards) or Gonella Bread, slow roasted beef, sweet peppers, dunked in au jus, with some giardiniera if the mood strikes me Edited September 11, 200817 yr by DABearSoX

September 11, 200817 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 11, 2008 -> 10:32 AM) Ham and cheese on white bread with mustard. I love me a normal sammich. B****! MAKE ME A SAMMITCH!!! The sandwiches I like seriously change with the season. I love the subway spicy italian sub in the spring/summertime, pepperjack cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, banana peppers, mustard(sometimes), spices and seasonings, oil and vinegar. In the fall/winter I love italian beef with sweet peppers and mozzerella, reuben sandwiches, and of course the post-thanksgiving leftover sandwich
September 11, 200817 yr QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 10, 2008 -> 11:40 PM) It really depends on where the sandwich is from. Get off your ass and make it!
