  1. Felix Diaz (last 12.1 Innings) - 7H 1ER 0BB Jose Contreras (last 9 innings) - 17H 18ER 10BB /updated
  2. I didn't see anyone answer your question. The way I understand it, maybe Jason or Rex knows it better, is we have to offer arbitration to recieve compensation... we could have recieved compensation for everett last season, but we were in much the same situation.
  3. Felix Diaz (last 12.1 Innings) - 7H 1ER 0BB Jose Contreras (last 8 innings)(*Doesn't include today's second Inning) - 13H 15ER 9BB /food for thought
  4. We're screwed -- As I understand it, we have to offer him at least %80 of his salary for this season, which would work out to 11.2 MIL -- We can't take the risk of 11MIL that he may accept it, given his condition.
  5. yeah those 7 yards he gave up in the second half so far are going to give him nightmares.
  6. most people call that special teams, but whatever floats your boat.
  7. Brown should have laid that f***er out -- He didn't wanna get his Uni dirty.
  8. Rdub stands for Rasta-Dub -- He smokes too much ganja -- just like salaam.
  9. That's where Ichiro! learned his patience.
  10. WMD. Imminent threat.No action.
  11. Borchard is in Ozzie's doghouse -- So is felix diaz... I fualt KW for not having the balls to tell ozzie who to f***ing play.
  12. isu -- they held UNI to under 100 yards offense, and then held Iowa to under 100 yards rushing...Iowa may be in a down year on teh O-line, but ISU is one of only a couple of teams to hold Iowa under 100 in the past 2 years.
  13. They may have one of the best D-lines in the country. We'll see.
  14. In the Outback Bowl last season Iowa took Florida out behind the woodshed... Iowa has more returning starters this season than does Florida... Florida is ranked ahead of Iowa in both polls... What did they do to "deserve" that ranking?
  15. Pre-season rankings are based largely on reputation and passed performance. Iowa finished the last two seasons ranked 8th in the country... Based on that they certainly "deserve" a high early season ranking. That being said, Ferentz does need to take a look at his offensive style. He clearly doesn't have the offensive line he once did, which was the best in the nation 2 years ago and among the best last year.... He needs to go to a short and quick passing attack to set up the run, not the run to set up the deep play action pass. Iowa won that game on conditioning though, even in a down year, Iowa's O-line was more powerful than ISU's D-line late in the game, and that was the difference. They should finish the season with a ranking once again in the top 15... on thier remaining schedule I only see a few match-up problems. Michigan - and their big talented recievers Purdue - and their High powered pass-happy offense and Ohio State - Who mirrors Iowa in style of play, with better athletes. Game will be won on special teams/kicking game.
  16. Michigan is a punk team that quits if you can play 'em close... See Ohio State/Iowa the last two years -- Michgan folds like a cheap tent if they can't put you away early... The only game in recent memory that I can remember them showing any fight was the Minnesot game last season.
  17. Mota F'n just gave teh cubs todays game :puke
  18. Knuckle -- Do you really need 5 dancing bannanas is your sig?

  20. I would f***ing shoot KW if I have to see Timo f***ing Perez in Right Field next season.... Since the ASB (when Timo has gotten the most playing time) Timo only ranks ahead of 10 players in all of baseball (minimum 100AB's) in runs created. That's 263rd out of 273 players. His OPS, the most often used simple guide for offensive production, is the same 263rd out of the qualified 273 players --- That f***er is terrible... Ok he has a good outfield arm, but his range is pitiful. RF is an offensive position and Timo Perez is the 'broken clock' of baseball. You just fail to realize that you only take notice when he's right not the overwhelming amount of time that he's wrong. This is a guy, who on his career fails to reach base 70% of the time. And you want that f***er playing RF? you're impressed by a few slap f***ing hits and lucky "clutch" hits? You want a guy with a career OPS+ of 87 playing RF? :puke I f***ing Hate Timo Perez EDIT: I just did a little checking. The average AL RF'er has an OPS of .786. Timo's? .642 -- That works out to an OPS+ of 81 as a RFer. :puke
