finally an update...

If I was Nebraska, I'd be lokoing at a couple of surprising candidates: Norm Chow -- USC offensive Coordinator -- not the best fit for the takent they have at Nebraska, but he is the BEST assistant available out there. It's not even close. He would be able to install a REAL passing game within a couple years. There would be some growing pains, but eventually he'd be attracting top notch talent an nebraska would be a national power again. Bill Snyder -- Head Coach, Kansas State -- Has devoloped a program at a school that's not really that well known nationally, all while runnning a very simillar offense to Nebraska. I'm sure he's locked up in a large contract -- plus he'd be leaving to a school in the same conference, same division. Both names aren't likely on Nebraska's list at all. But, makes you wonder why they even fired Solich in the first place.

I come here becuase it's not as smoky as other sports bars I visit.

Funny "DVD burning" anecdote: Over the holidays, Christmas Eve actually, I was at my aunt's. The whole extended family was there: aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. I was talking about how useless my sister's laptop was. My uncle chimed in that he had just gotten a new computer. He was listing off all of the computers cital statistics. "It does everything" he said. Me -- Does it burn DVDs? Uncle -- I don't know. Grandma -- Well you should find out, cuz you don't want to watch one on you computer if it does. -- she was being serious. I tried to explain that the computer doesn't actually Burn them, as in heat and flames. Grandma (cutting me off) -- Well if they censor the movies that's just as bad. We all had a laughed and eventually got it all explained to her.

I don't expect E-lo to put up numbers like he did last year... But I do think, as long as he can be consistent, he'll put up simillar numbers to the second half last season.

Too bad Tate is only 6-0" at best... I'd really like it if he were just a bit taller... How does Iowa's recruiting class look this year??? I know last year they lost a couple of recruits becuase Ferentz was flirting with the Jacksonville job. Hopefully he stays at Iowa and doesn't even interview for a NFL job.

I visited Whitesox.com today for the first time in probably a month... I only have 7 posts over there... I was appalled at the sheer number of trolls over there. not to mention the difficulty of reading the threads; this board is much easier. I just got home from bar hoppin' on the south-side. I don't get down there often, living in the northwest burbs. But I must say I love heading down there. I was on the look out for good 'ole LEE celebrating, but I was too busy with the many "beautiful babies" --swingers rules-- Anyway Happy B-day Lee. Hope 22 treats you well.
