  1. Sox plus 180 looks like a great in game bet here.
  2. DJ was very critical of the judgment on that play. Cody Heuer gave up the last Tigers inside the park hone run last season. Nice way to start the inning Timmy! Get him home!!! Yeah, it was bad. https://www.twitter.com/tigers/status/1411434984775299079
  3. You can’t stop Billy Hamilton, you can only hope to contain him.
  4. Dude, your assessment of Goodwin defensive ability based on sprint speed, or Vaughn bringing “nothing to the table”, and your attempt to backtrack on your ludicrous positions over the past month or two continues to be a complete joke. The White Sox are playing Vaughn everyday, the same opinion shared by just about everyone here, because he is the superior option. You may take solace with your being backed by the Saltine/Platoon brigade, gotta have something to cling to in life. Take care, and try not to blow off your tiny fingers this weekend.
  5. He has been raking, just think Boston will have to work OT with Sheets to get him to the point he can play OF in the playoffs. Wouldn’t want to pencil in Lamb or Goodwin in the OF either, could cause big problems pitching wise with pitchers needing four or five outs to get out of an inning. Playoffs too important to cut corners defensively, with LF already a huge liability if Eloy returns to the field.
  6. Cherry please. https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/video/andrew-vaughn-s-diving-catch
  7. Solid, glad to see both Billy and Leury in the lineup, optimal defensively with players available. Also like Jose taking a break in the field, not sure how Sheets is there, but Jose and Tim need days off too.
  8. Didn't get around reading this article until I came across @southsider2k5's links. Not surprised at some of the reactions here. Hoping Bauer's $ doesn't buy him out of facing the consequences of his actions, both on and off the field.
  9. Defense matters, especially in the playoffs when games are played tighter and your not facing the riff raff the Sox are playing this stretch. If Eaton is healthy, he's going to play at minimum vs. RHP in the playoffs. It's a big if, but that's likely what Tony will do if he is healthy. It's possible Sheets is on the team when they return, but don't see him as a starting RF in the playoffs, and wouldn't consider Burger or Sheets as favorites to be on a playoff roster. They are here as an emergency, but hopefully both contribute and gain valuable experience. Roberts and Eloy need to cross two thresholds, one is to recover fully to return, two and more important is to gain their timing and contribute up to their expected level with a few to several weeks left in the season. Have to give credit to those players answering the bell throughout the season, including the much maligned Yoan.
  10. Tim been slumping as well, BA and OPS dropped from .313 & .798 to .289 & .724 since the Astros Series. .229 / ,463 the past 14 days. The season is a grind, players go through ebbs and flows. That's why it's foolish to project a hot or slow start as predictive of final numbers. Yermin's hot start created a "conundrum". Vaughn needs to be demoted or platooned. Pedigree and ability matter. That said, both Abreu and Tim could use scheduled rest, Tony defers too much to a players assessment, needs to manage loads better.
  11. That couldn't have possibly happened. @CaliSoxFanViaSWside said Andrew Vaughn doesn't offer a damn thing, he is disgusting, terrible and putrid, can't hit, field or run. Open your eyes Balta and stop blindly supporting Vaughn.
  12. You didn't say he doesn't have to play everyday. You said Andrew Vaughn doesn't bring a damn thing to the table. You said Hamilton is more valuable against RHP. You are the one that doesn't bring a damn thing to the table.
  13. You keep calling other posters liars, but you are completely full of shit, and have been for weeks with your ridiculous platoon crusade. You have dozens of not hundreds of ridiculous posts like this one. You need to appologize, move on, or just STFU with your martyrdom and gaslighting, both less accurate than your assessment of one Andrew Vaughn.
  14. Yes, wouldn’t even consider trading Andrew Vaughn for Adam Frazier.
  15. Kenny drafted a lot of crap over the years, was able to spin it into good trade returns.
  16. Yes, just bad luck this outing. He’ll get out of it.
  17. Still should go with Fry to play it safe.
  18. Didn’t need to, I’ve harped on moving Eloy to DH for years.
  19. Foster and Fry were the only other options. You shouldn’t use both Kopech and Crochet in the same game with their current restrictions and Bummer out. Nice play by Collins per Len.
  20. Len Kasper and DJ had a discussion regarding old school managers passing on challenging for sportsmanship, goodwill from umpires. Listening, so I’m not sure if he was safe or out. Hope it’s on the condensed game.
  21. Andrew Vaughn adds to his team lead with his 16th double.
