Quero is the master of getting his passed balls called wild pitches.

Romo as starting catcher is analogous to the Sox getting a red card in a soccer game and having to play a man short.

Hope that our next manager will be a successful, experienced MLB manager, not a first time unproven manager like Ventura, Grifol and Venable.

Quero is the least bad. Who is that guy Drew Romo, he is bad - quoting Ozzie the other night.

One final comment.. our catchers have been terrible, and the two wild pitches in the ninth would have been stopped by a better catcher than Quero. Our catchers have been unable to block/catch balls on the dirt all season long.

Fortunately Ramirez is not 100%, and could not beat us this time.

Will should go to the IL for idiocy. Many bad decisions lately.

Sox have to avoid using Richards as a closer. Any closer that walks two with a three run lead should forfeit that role.

Like the other day letting a ball at him go past him, as well.

And possibly both of the 2 runs.

We need more contact hitting in these situations, not trying to hit a homer all the time, particularly with 2 strikes.

He should not be hitting cleanup.

Colson has been a rally killer, striking out with RISP , primarily swinging at balls out of the zone, mainly high fastballs. Is he coachable? If not he needs to be moved down in the lineup, until he gets his act together. We need more contact hitters up in the lineup. IMO.

Meidroth brings that good California vibe to the team.

He made the Red Sox regret his trade.

No way would he do it on purpose and embarrass himself and the team, and on the first inning. He could have just indicated to the catcher to go to the mound to talk to Schultz, and buy time.

With Romo in the lineup we are playing with 8 hitters. He is the closest to an automatic out in MLB.

Chase has been our best hitter the last few games.

Colson needs to be moved down in the lineup, away from clean up spot. He is striking out too much swinging out of the zone, and stopping possible rally’s.

Doesn’t help that Venable shows no energy and looks like a zombie in the dugout.

Then Will should start Antonacci against this lefty.

We need the big 3 to start hitting homers more frequently again.

I have never seen that happening before, in decades of playing and watching baseball. Will is getting worse by the day.

I also wonder if Will was willing to useFedde, why he did not bring him in to close the game on the 10th?
