The Big Three delivering again. Now we need to upgrade the outfield.

The Big Three delivered tonight against one of the best teams in MLB, the Cubs. Vargas continues to show that he belongs in the Big Three.

Very tall lefty pitchers are very few, and they have the Randy Johnson intimidating factor, and find the way to be effective. IMO.

It seems to me Ozzie is regressing on his English. It’s getting harder for me to understand him. He is getting into subtitles territory IMO.

Hudson inspires more confidence closing than Dominguez.

Sox now have a Big Three, that will be putting fear into many opposing pitchers. Mura our Japanese Aaron Judge, Vargas and Colson. With Vargas humming, the Kopech trade is looking much better. It reminds me of the Big Threes in the NBA with LeBron. There is no one else with a similar Big Three home run threat in theAL Central.

We are lucky that we caught Seattle with the Big Dumper mega slump. He is leaving many on base.

Winning the division will be more doable than a WC.

I don’t know whether Thomas is the answer, but the Sox need to improve on the current outfield. Mediocre defense and power numbers. Our infield defense is pretty good but not the outfield.

The Sox didn’t learn, and threw Raley a fast ball in the zone twice.

Don’t forget that we now have the Pope behind the Sox.

I would also ask why isn’t Murakami hitting 3 rd. More opportunity to hit HRs with men on base, than hitting second.

The question is who stupidly called for a fastball on an 0-2 count in the first place, and why throw it right down the middle in second place, and with the bases loaded at that.. Burke should have better control…

Was thinking maybe a Japanese TV or radio deal with advertising at Rate park. Sox merchandise selling in Japan. I recall I once attended a Marlins game in Miami, when Ichiro was playing there, and there were many Japanese press and TV and fans there for the game, and Miami is even farther than Chicago. With JR turning 90 yrs old, wouldn’t he want a championship and spend the money ? He doesn’t need any big money at his age. His children would still inherit the club. IMO.

I would believe that a lot of Japanese money will be coming into the Sox, much like it happened with Ichiro in Seattle. Good opportunity for JR to cash in on that. Sox brand equity will go up.

Signing Murakami is the best decision by Sox front office in ages. There is Murakami fever in Chicago, with attendance up. Attendance for all Sox games on the road will also increase from the dismal past numbers. Murakami will continue to be the talk of baseball. The Sox are also now in contention in the weak AL Central, with Murakami leading the way along with our good young prospects. There is hope in the South Side. Let’s not trade him at the deadline. Let’s enjoy the moment with our Japanese Aaron Judge. IMO.
