  1. Who decided to stop throwing the change up: Castillo, the catcher or the bench.? Whoever it was, it was a mistake.
  2. He may command a lot of respect, but his roster construction, and in game managing decisions leave a lot to be desired. IMO.
  3. Will is not a Lou Piniella.
  4. Better than Braden Montgomery strikes out.
  5. Too much GAS from Varland at the end.
  6. It’s ovah at Cleveland. Toronto 6 Guardians 3.
  7. Absolutely. Ozzie would be doing better than Will at this time.
  8. Castillo throwing too many meatballs. Getz got fleeced by the Mariners.
  9. This is the Texas version of the Green Monster.
  10. The lack of adjustments by Will along with no sense of urgency is exasperating. Not moving Mune out of the second spot is managerial malpractice. Also don’t like to hit the strikeout prone Montgomerys back to back. Will needs to have better lineup construction. IMO.
  11. Try moving him down in the lineup for a couple of games first. IMO.
  12. I can’t explain why Will keeps Mune hitting 2 nd. He should have been flipped with Peters already. I wonder how many RISP has he left on base during his slump.
  13. Wise comment. Don’t let Alvarez beat us.
  14. Certainly not with 2 strikes when you need to cut down your swing.
  15. Romo is not a better base runner than Acuna or even Doyle. Ozzie was also quoted a few days back: “Who is this guy Drew Romo he is not good”. Romo is still batting around .140, halfway between the Maldonado and Mendoza lines. There was not going to be a double play. There was no one covering second with the drawn up infield.
  16. Awful decision. If Acuna was running instead of Romo, he would have scored. You need to play for the win in a tied game in the 8 th.
  17. Are you serious? Doubt that analytics would have indicated not to pinch run for Romo tonight. Obsession over splits should not be automatic. You need to consider the quality of the players involved. You can’t pinch hit Doyle for Peters regardless, for example.
  18. Would have liked to have seen a higher energy, more experienced, and better in game manager than Will this season. I think he was hired for a 100 loss team, not an unexpected division leader, and we are paying the price. Hope it doesn’t cost us the playoffs.
  19. And Will never admits that he screwed up, and doubles down on his bad decisions.
  20. Agree 150%. The 8th inning doomed us tonight on both ends. Bad base running and the inability to hit the ball up in the air on one end and the bullpen on the other end. What ever happened to Vargas upper cut swing? A double play grounder was the-worst case scenario.
  21. Will has been a bad manager lately. Not up to standard of a division leader team. Too many blunders.
  22. I don’t care what Will says. You have to pinch run Acuna for Romo. Our base running in the 8 th was bad. Peters had to stay at 3 rd as well earlier.
  23. Lucky that Colson is much taller than Chase.
