  1. I agree. We got poor returns for trAding stars like Cease, Fedde and useful players like Kopech, Eloy and letting ReyLo, Bummer go.
  2. The best option was to keep Burger with all that control. His slugging is very suitable for GRF. He is still hitting homers in Miami which is a pitcher friendly park. IMO.
  3. Whatever was with Pedro was not working with the Sox. His firing was long overdue,
  4. Definitely. Sizemore has credibility. Former MLB star. Younger and more energetic than Pedro. Looks like a keeper for next season.
  5. Is this a soccer team lineup?
  6. Robert wants to compete with Yoan in the music department.
  7. This mgr has more credibility and energy than Pedro. A former MLB star. pedro was a minor leaguer.
  8. It is a better new version of the Grady Sizemore Sox. Not the Pedro version. This change should have been made months ago. There is a much better vibe now.
  9. More energy, more motivation, more fun. Pedro did not provide those attributes.
  10. Burger is more durable than Eloy.
  11. One of the worst trades made by the Hahn/KW regime.
  12. I think the Dodgers vibe motivated him more than being with woeful Sox.
  13. You are right. We should have gotten more in return fromLA/STL.
  14. I don’t disagree with you. My point is that we should have gotten a bigger return. Fireballer relief pitchers are always in demand.
  15. Typical result of pitchers that we trade do better elsewhere, ie. ReyLo, Bummer, Cease, now Kopech so far. The problem is compounded with the poor returns we are getting. Most of our trades of our better players look like salary dumps to me first of all. Doesn’t speak well of our coaching, GMand overall team motivation.
  16. Kopech has pitched in 5 games with the Dodgers, 5 innings, 8Ks, no walks with a 0.00 ERA. Another case of pitchers leaving the Sox and thriving in other organizations like ReyLo, Cease, Bummer, and now apparently Kopech. Maybe is a combination of bad trades with poor returns combined with poor coaching and motivation in a terrible team.
  17. You can put it on the board …YES! It is hard to believe that it took so long to do this, and shake the tree of these rotten fruits. I can only imagine that JR was trying To save some money, by not having to pay 2 managers for a longer period. The team needed a massive change and to stop the embarrassing bleeding. IMO.
  18. I think Burger has hit 19 homers so far in Miami which is a pitchers park. At GRF he would be probably closer to 30 dingers. You need to factor your park into your personnel decisions. Sox are not a small ball team.
  19. Getz also got poor returns on his trades of stars like Cease and Fedde, not to mention how ReyLo and Bummer are performing this year.
  20. The Sox are the kingdom of mediocre journeymen, which is a formula for the cellar.
  21. Longest MLB losing streak in 36 years so far. JR has destroyed the White Sox brand. All those celebrities who used to wear the Sox caps will be too embarrassed to wear them now, along with thousands of fans. I guess Sox jersey sales have collapsed. It is a disgrace.
  22. I suggest that Sox fans boycott attendance to GRF until Grifol is fired or at least the losing streak is over. Hit JR in the pocketbook.
