  1. Romo is just awful on challenges. Should be advised not to challenge unless 200% sure, not on his first at bat/early innings, and never unless is to avoid a strike out or a game situation. He has not earned the right to have a free hand on this.IMO.
  2. I don’t know but we will regret this trade. He is a first rounder also traded for no immediate help.
  3. No way Teel should be hitting 6th and ahead of Peters. Teel should be hitting no higher than 8th. IMO.
  4. He gets anxious and impatient with RISP, and keeps swinging at balls out of the zone. IMO.
  5. It would help if they move Peters up from the 8 th spot. He has the highest hitting avg in the team. He should never be hitting behind hitters like Teel. Venable roster construction can be baffling.
  6. And the Twins also lost to the Cubs. The Twins should not be over looked, they have a good team.
  7. Agree. Catching pop ups around home plate with one hand is risky.
  8. I was referring to the OPS over .700.
  9. I hate to say it but Taylor McGregor on the North Side is sexier and more charismatic. Would make me more nervous on an interview.
  10. There was no Acuna, Pérez or Romo in the lineup today.
  11. We need to go with our better players even if they are lefty vs lefty. They can’t be worse than Perez and Romo.
  12. I think Tony Romo would do better than our Romo.
  13. They are two outs dressed as baseball, players. Hitting them back to back is even more brutal. We dodged a bullet with them in a 1-0 win.
  14. Junior Perez and Romo hitting back to back is brutal. It’s like playing the game with 7 players. At least, Acuna is coming around.
  15. Sox did acquire Thome today with the 34 th pick acquired.
  16. At least the Sox got Thome’s son with the pick from the Gonzo trade. Regardless, Gonzo was a #1 pick and was coming around….
  17. Savannah Bananas a good training ground. 🙏🍌🍌🍌
  18. It would help if the line up today did not include Junior Pérez hitting fifth, and Acuna and Romo anchoring the bottom of the lineup.
  19. Wish we had Cease tonight. Threw a one hitter tonight. No hitter broken up in the 9th. Sox lack a stopper at this time.
  20. But we have seen the Pope!
  21. Venable needs better lineup construction. Also needs to up his energy level and kick some butt when needed. He looks too low energy and stoic in the dugout. He does not look like a capable manager for a team in contention. IMO.
  22. It helped that Jose Ramirez is out and Naylor was traded, both Sox killers in the past.
  23. Sox pitching need to cut down on the gopher balls, particularly with men on base. Also we need a reliable, consistent closer. We would have swept the Guardians with a reliable closer. The D was nothing to write home about today. With Mune back , we should be able to increase run production to minimize high leverage closing situations. IMO.
