I think main reason is that he is under contract for a couple more years and JR wants him to work for that money, and don’t have to pay two manager salaries. IMO.

Sox 12 games under .500 at home. Sox need to better tailor the roster for GRF. IMO we need more power hitters (and we trade Burger) and pitchers that do not allow an inordinate amount of home runs to begin with.
