  1. Sox first inning defense was the worst of the season. Looked like the Keystone Cops on the field.
  2. And both in walk off fashion. Need to beef up the bullpen ASAP. It’s our Achilles heel today. Offense is not our problem. Relief pitching is. With Mune or without him, we still have a problem with the pitching side. Need to start planning for deals at the trade deadline.
  3. ESPN has the Sox playoff odds now at 65.6% up from 20.9% in May, the largest odds increase of any team. Conversely, it had the Guardians playoff odds in May at 88.7% and now at 72.4%. Sox trending in the right direction. I would venture to say Sox should be favorites to win the Central, and make the playoffs. You can put it on the board. Yes!
  4. Maybe he should have been given the take sign on 3-1, as he has a tendency to swing at balls out of the zone.
  5. Rather take my closer chances with Taylor than with Seranthony
  6. Newcomb had a 1.75 ERA with A’s last season.
  7. Beats me. Inexplicable.
  8. It was not easy with Junior Perez, Acuna, and Romo all in the lineup.
  9. It helped that we had a Seranthony free night.
  10. Too bad he was thrown under the bus by the third base coach, sending him in with no outs, a rally killer and another Sox unforced error.
  11. Optics on Venable in the dugout are not good. Low energy, stoic with the deer in the headlights look, with bad decisions left and right. Are the Sox ever going to get a good manager? Ventura, Last TLR version, Grifol and now Venable. 🥵 Shocking statistics. Does Will looks at statistics? This is managerial malpractice.
  12. We can’t keep going into the well with Seranthony closing. Two big failures back to back. He is a setup man at best now. IMO.
  13. Savannah Banana power.
  14. Better than our Romo/QUERO combo, hitting below the Mendoza line, and bringing back memories of Martin Maldonado.
  15. Shades of Grifol…
  16. And not bring Eisert in game situations.
  17. With Quero and Romo catching, it’s risky to bury a splitter with men on base, because neither one of them is good blocking balls on the dirt.
  18. Moving around players has not paid off.
  19. And Eisert either. A lead is never safe when Seranthony is coming in to close.
  20. We have too many AAA players on the team now, that are not playing MLB level. We are missing Mune and Teel badly.
  21. I don’t know what is wrong, but he looks like a deer out in the headlights, and very low energy on the bench.
  22. Low energy and terrible RISP stats. 🥵 Shades of Grifol. Can we ever get a good manager?
  23. Romo is an out dressed as a baseball player, and Quero is not much better both below the Mendoza line, and bad defensive catchers and ABS challengers. TEEL needed urgently.
  24. I remember a few days ago Quero was leading MLB in lost challenges. Teel being back is the biggest need for the Sox today.
