  1. Big Trio or Three Amigos ?
  2. We can also consider options like Big Trio or Three Amigos ?
  3. In the meantime, Kopech sits at home. Rare win for the Sox front office along with Mune signing.
  4. Beni has been hitting better lately.
  5. The Sox are moving to a Japanese centric foreign contingent from the Cuban centric era. The Japanese are looking better so far.
  6. He is only 5’6”, 150 lbs. so don’t expect too much on the power side. He is primarily a second baseman with lots of energy and high OBP.
  7. Hicks should not have been in a high leverage close game situation. IMO.
  8. Still a better chance with Grichuk a career 200+ homer guy than QUERO who is hitting like .150 with very little plate discipline. IMO.
  9. Our biggest weakness now is the bottom of the lineup , when is populated by QUERO/Romo and Acuna, all hitting below the Mendoza line.
  10. Proved right. Grichuk just hit a homer as PH. Compare that to Quero.
  11. Supporting Acuna and Quero in the same lineup, with their below the Mendoza line batting average is unsustainable. Hill much better than Acuna. Benintendi starting to hit also helps. We also found the new. 9th inning closer in Taylor. If Seranthony was closing tonight, we may not have won this game.
  12. We need a better closer than Dominguez if we want to contend.
  13. Laz Diaz is the new Angel Hernandez.
  14. Give the Hawk a phone call to ask for a suggestion.
  15. We need Teel back healthy ASAP. Quero and Romo defense has been very mediocre, particularly catching the ball behind the plate and also poor on ABS challenges.
  16. And the Rate is a homer friendly park, so it should continue.
  17. I would like Mune better at batting third. Better chance for someone on base when he hits a homer.
  18. At least Beckham is not on today, otherwise it would be nonstop verbal diahrrea. Bring out the Pepto Bismol.
  19. Quero has been even worse at ABS challenges. Venables needs to instruct our catchers and pitchers, to allow the pitchers to make the ABS challenges and not the catchers. Writing about ABS, it brought back memories about Angel Hernandez. He would have overheated the system from overuse by now. IMO.
  20. The Big Three delivering again. Now we need to upgrade the outfield.
  21. The Big Three delivered tonight against one of the best teams in MLB, the Cubs. Vargas continues to show that he belongs in the Big Three.
  22. Very tall lefty pitchers are very few, and they have the Randy Johnson intimidating factor, and find the way to be effective. IMO.
  23. It seems to me Ozzie is regressing on his English. It’s getting harder for me to understand him. He is getting into subtitles territory IMO.
  24. Hudson inspires more confidence closing than Dominguez.
  25. Sox now have a Big Three, that will be putting fear into many opposing pitchers. Mura our Japanese Aaron Judge, Vargas and Colson. With Vargas humming, the Kopech trade is looking much better. It reminds me of the Big Threes in the NBA with LeBron. There is no one else with a similar Big Three home run threat in theAL Central.
