  1. Not talking walks doesn’t help either. Tonight we got 1 run and 8 hits so far.
  2. Should had both Benintendi and Robert in a double steal/ hit & run play with Vaughn at bat. Vaughn is a big DP candidate, worse than Eloy at clean up.
  3. TA just struck out swinging at a-ball almost a foot off the plate. And he is a lead off hitter?.??
  4. And no translator is needed.
  5. There were 2 outs so he got a good start.
  6. It was good to get Arraez out of the Central. I still can’t believe the Twins traded the hitting champ, and now the guy is hitting over.400 into June. Imagine if he hits over .400 this season, first since Ted Williams. I doubt it happens but if it does some heads should roll in Minny. Would the Twins have trade Arraez to the Sox? We sure could have used him.
  7. Burger is 3/4 th of the way to the Golden Sombrero again.
  8. Sox are not practitioners of small ball.
  9. Andrus bailed us out. Vaughn was not going to catch that popup.
  10. Too bad. We could have used Eloy’s bat today with the bases loaded.
  11. That plan is the plan every game.
  12. A take sign here and there with bases loaded would help, particularly with a pitcher throwing lots of balls.
  13. Should have taken the first pitch.
  14. Taking 2 games in a row at Yankee Stadium, albeit without Judge, it is a wonderful unexpected achievement.
  15. Formula for success: hit homers and great relief pitching.
  16. Grifol might need to give some take signs to our undisciplined hitters. Does it every time.
  17. The Dominican Empire strikes back.
  18. Weak ground ball hitter with warning track power would do that to you.
  19. Wow! Eloy Bomb! Lynn is off the hook
  20. Impatient hitters, not looking for a good pitch to hit, not working counts and not taking walks are a Sox trademark.
  21. TA does it every time. Is there no coaching or is he uncoachable?
  22. Lead has disappeared two times and now the Sox are also behind. Lynn is the most likely Sox starter to not uphold 4 Sox runs,
  23. Send him on rehab to a fat farm.
  24. Lynn has become the 2023 version of Dallas Keuchel. Every time he starts, there is a feeling of doom. Too many gopher balls.
  25. Agree that Pedro has been making some better moves lately. I like that all players on the bench are available to pinch hit, contrary to TLR not pinch hitting with “resting stars” last season. Pedro is also using the running game more often than TLR did.
