I am glad that we finally ran into a team that is worse than the Sox.

It’s great to back playing the weak AL Central at home. It has been brutal going against the other MLB divisions.

Age is catching up with Verlander. Lots of wear and tear with those older pitchers, particularly the one with Kate Upton at home.

Sounds like a good plan to try.

That is because we don’t take any walks to go with the hits.

We have Grandal and Vaughn, two of the slowest runners in MLB. With them in play you need three hits to score a run.

Finally Robert hitting 3rd and Vaughn moved down to 5 th. That was a no brainer.

The Sox should value home run hitters because GRF is a home run hitters park.

He is too slow, hits too many ground balls, strikes out often and his defense is average at best, so I opine that he is not a critical part of a rebuild.

With exception of Robert.

We got slider’d and curved away the whole game. Would venture to say that most of them swung and missed were out of the zone. We just have too many AAA type hitters that have no patience, no discipline, and cannot hit a major league breaking ball.

Very slow running ground ball hitter is a rally killer. Needs to be moved down in the lineup.

Right on. Looks like Pedro is stubborn and is not adjusting to the game situations. If we lose this game is on Pedro for slotting Vaughn in the 3rd spot. Also giving Vaughn more opportunities to hit than Robert.

Due to not hit a ground ball or strike out, but pop up to the catcher instead.

Why is he still hitting 3rd? He has been the supreme rally killer. With either Robert or Burger hitting 3 rd instead of Vaughn, Sox would probably be leading. IMO.
