  1. This says a lot about the Sox lack of quality prospects and back ups. Team depth is shallow.
  2. A Sunday lineup on a Saturday.
  3. Wish he comes back soon. Our D at third has been suspect at best.
  4. Grifol also looks like a low energy, laid back manager. We need an ass kicking, high energy manager instead to maximize output from our talent. IMO.
  5. Main reason we lost was the failure in the 8 th inning to bring a runner from 3rd, and a very fast one at that, with no outs with three ground balls on the infield. Two of our weaknesses exposed here, impatient hitting not waiting for the right pitch to go the other way, and swinging at the first pitch, and bad roster construction with high ground ball rate and lack of fly ball hitters.
  6. Don’t have to be a rocket scientist to notice that TA always try to pull the ball with RISP and go to the right side with no one on. Should be the other way around.
  7. Our hitting coach had to coach Tim before his costly at bat to not pull the ball and go to the right side , and to wait for the right pitch if possible. Everybody in that disastrous inning that cost us the game showed no patience and swung at the first pitch.
  8. Elvis is the new Leury. Pedro must like rock and roll and the King.
  9. Billy should have the moniker Formula One Billy.
  10. Middleton was once the Angels closer before TJ surgery. Did not come back as good after the surgery. Hope he is regaining his old form.
  11. Finally the Sox are showing that they are what we thought they were.
  12. So glad we brought Billy back, and reactivated our running game.
  13. If the bullpen holds on,
  14. I would venture to say that Moncada had a better chance to make this play.
  15. Sox pulling an Al Pacino tonight, They are pulling some of us back in.
  16. Colas could not hit a major league breaking pitch, and was generally overmatched against the better pitchers. His defense was good and better than Sheets or Eloy in RF. IMO.
  17. David Schoenfield of ESPN April MLB team grades, had the Sox with an F minus, just ahead of Oakland for last place. It indicated a collective failure. It should be an embarrassment to JR and the FO.
  18. Eloy was trotting not running.
  19. Maybe the stadium name should be changed to Guaranteed Loss Field and flipping the arrow down.
  20. I believe his last name is Montoyo not Montoya. He was Blue Jays manager for a while. This bench coach has been as invisible as Cairo las year.
  21. Couldn’t the Sox have hired a manager or at least a coach from the Rays instead of a losing organization like the Royals. Would have been a much better investment. IMO.
  22. Hahn has been completely out performed by the Cubs FO this year. Adding Swanson, Bellinger, Mancini, Hosmer all proven performers with playoff/World Series experience as well as Susuki are making Cubs contenders this year. Hahn adds Benintendi a slap hitter for a homer friendly park and not much more. Sox are losers.
