Let’s not hire first time managers from losing organizations. Pedro should be fired to shake up the team.

Vaughn is the least of our worries. I am more worried about Lynn’s meatballs, and I am not looking forward to him pitching at GRF and his gopher balls.

If things don’t get better soon, Grifol should be canned. We can’t fire the whole team. Bring in someone with a track record with a winning organization.. something dramatic should be done to shake this rotten tree. IMO.

Think Sox should consider firing Pedro if the current disaster continues. Bring Girardi in from the Cubs booth or any other former manager of a winning organization except TLR. Maybe even Ozzie who would be better than Pedro.

It was never a good idea to hire a manager from a losing organization, that has been passed over for manager at the losing organization.

This game could have turned the season around for the Sox. But the team kind of expects to lose and becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. It is a shame.

The Colas strike out on a ball one foot off the plate with the bases loaded didn’t help either. This is a recurring problem for the Sox, the lack of plate discipline and inability to hit a breaking pitch. On the positive side, the Sox took 8 walks today.

Cubs have a much better team now than the Sox. Besides Madrigal, they added Swanson, Bellinger, Mancini, Hosmer, and Susuki from Japan. Hoerner, Happ and Wisdom doing great. Rick Hahn not doing great with our additions. Adding insult to injury.

Sox are the one inning wonders. Can’t score in more than one inning.

Same problem as last year. Poor roster construction for a homer friendly park. We needed to go after some established power hitters like Bellinger. We are going to get hammered at home by teams with home run power.

Attendance is directly proportional to winning. Should be a little more tomorrow.

This season the Cubs have a better team so far. They improved more than we did. Could we have gone for Bellinger instead of Benintendi, we could have used the extra power.
