He was safe. Pedro didn’t challenge in time. According to the Marlins announcers.

That's a White Sox Walk Off Winner !
They are now what we thought they would be earlier.

It may have been a curve ball, either way it hung in the middle of the plate…tee ball style.

Benintendi is a good contact singles hitter, and Robert had looked bad tonight and can’t hit a slider. Fortunately Fiori hung a breaking pitch in the middle of the plate that Luis could hit.

First he needs to make contact. He keeps swinging and missing on pitches out of the zone.

Need to change the strategy of swinging at everything. Need to take some walks, give the take sign as needed, reactivate running game, bunt if necessary, bench guys that keep striking out swinging out of the zone…IMO.

Not talking walks doesn’t help either. Tonight we got 1 run and 8 hits so far.

Should had both Benintendi and Robert in a double steal/ hit & run play with Vaughn at bat. Vaughn is a big DP candidate, worse than Eloy at clean up.

There were 2 outs so he got a good start.

It was good to get Arraez out of the Central. I still can’t believe the Twins traded the hitting champ, and now the guy is hitting over.400 into June. Imagine if he hits over .400 this season, first since Ted Williams. I doubt it happens but if it does some heads should roll in Minny. Would the Twins have trade Arraez to the Sox? We sure could have used him.

Andrus bailed us out. Vaughn was not going to catch that popup.

Too bad. We could have used Eloy’s bat today with the bases loaded.

That plan is the plan every game.

A take sign here and there with bases loaded would help, particularly with a pitcher throwing lots of balls.

Should have taken the first pitch.

That's a White Sox HR powered Game 1 Victory
Taking 2 games in a row at Yankee Stadium, albeit without Judge, it is a wonderful unexpected achievement.

Grifol might need to give some take signs to our undisciplined hitters. Does it every time.

Weak ground ball hitter with warning track power would do that to you.
