Just based on some of the titles it appears I'm not missing much if anything.

DeGrom can get roughed up and given his season history he's just about due. But with 13 days off he's probably going to be pretty sharp.

Tough matchup tomorrow. Maybe I can finally watch. Was busy Saturday and don't have any of those streaming services

I got the max on youtube (5000) and I keep cutting songs I have for songs I missed. I do run across some every now and than that are 5 years old or less that I like. Here's one that I like for some reason. Some of the live versions are worth watching too.

DeGrom hasn’t given up more than 2 ER in his last three starts but that has been facing pansy offenses like the angels, marlins, and indians.

He’s been getting roughed up with around 6 ER when facing teams like the padres and Yankees.

I say we hang a 5 spot on him in the 5th or 6th inning. If Feddie can limit the damage to 4 runs or less we should be good to go.

And hopefully the rest of the league keeps up what happened today… all other AL central teams lose while our Sox win!

I'm trying to be positive about the DeGrom vs Fedde match-up. Maybe the Ranger's veteran right handed pitcher will meet an early demise after facing our young, hellacious, LH line-up. DeGrom doesn't usually walk many batters so the Sox are probably going to string some hits together in order to knock him out early.

This is what they call a tough match up.....actually with our LHH I think we got a punchers chance. Too bad the currently performing bullpen sputtered in Detroit and Cleveland series or we would have a bit of breathing room. Let's hope it sticks for a bit.

If you don’t stop listening then you never get old

Setting aside classical music and maybe even roots musical forms like jazz, country, folk... Lipman has a point about how different age groups relate to current popular music or "pop" music. There is something about the popular music of ones generation that becomes ingrained and will always remain special. Conversely, while current pop music appeals to the younger generation, some of it is not as relatable to older listeners for whatever reason. While I have open ears and an open mind, I still gravitate to classic rock, some alt.country, folk-rock and , for the most part, music from the last century. I am pretty sure I would be down with Lip's 2500 as a starting point.

Up until about 2-3 years ago I was up to date on damn near everything music wise. And I genuinely thought ‘id always be hip to it’

it’s remarkable that the second I hit 30 how little newer stuff resonates with me. Is what it is I guess but it genuinely bums me out. Like I wish I was as jacked up about Geese or whatever as the younguns.

More hilarious is my older son now listening to the music I did which was around well before he was even born — Alice In Chains, Metallica, basically any 90’s Alternative, Rock, or Metal music.

I am not going to claim to like it all, but if my kids want me to check something out, I listen and keep and open mind. Hell if I can see someone like Paul McCartney in his 80s at a Taylor Swift concert, what room do I have to claim everything from today sucks?

My son is definitely on the same track as me music wise. But he also has his stuff, and I try and make sure I’m listening to that too.

New stuff isn’t all good but there is some good stuff.

Not "proud" at all. I enjoy what I enjoy. Don't need to waste my time on things that I don't care for.

I've got everything from ABBA to ZZ Top on the computer. Have 400 vinyl albums and about 400 45 RPM singles including some valuable ones from the Beatles and Elvis.

Like I wrote, I'm perfectly fine with what I've got and enjoy. I've traveled with athletic teams for decades including up to this past March, I've heard enough of the music they are listening to, to know it's not my style.

That is very true, but not for the reasons you think.

Was thinking yesterday that the pitching is going to be Fedde, Noah, Kay against Degrom and whoever. Not exactly how you want to line up in an important road series. We have a better lineup, but this is going to be a tough ask. I'd settle for 1 of 3 and a .500 road trip.
