There is no way in hell Moncada doesn’t play second base better than Burger does. And Burger is a first round draft choice at third base. But of course not. Play Burger at second. THIS IS INSANE.

Perhaps. Well, if they did go Burger, the only thing that makes sense is putting Burger at third and Moncada sucking it up to play second again to close out the season. Its not like a big deal, I can’t imagine another team or players not rallying the troops and taking emergency action. For some reason everyone is scared of Moncada being to fragile for this. Laughable.

I'd be happy however if they took one of the big salaries they don't want to pay for a given player, and invest it in some real scouting infrastructure and minors for internationals.
