Lorretta's Lounge renamed after TLR
I can tell you I get many business emails about company news things I really don’t care about. But they are mass emailed out to everyone at the company if I understand correctly.

Lorretta's Lounge renamed after TLR
I tend to think he would know something like this. But tbh, it doesn’t seem like something he would think was a good idea either. So I don’t know. Love or hate JR, he’s got a reputation for having a heart for his employees.

Lorretta's Lounge renamed after TLR
Whether or not he gets involved to that level of control, fairly safe bet he knows what is going on just as a curious person about what’s going on at a “Sox park”. Just while he’s sitting in a suite relaxing and talking, you gotta believe somebody wants to be the one to tell him the latest scuttlebut. ‘Hey J, they are renaming that Lorreta concession stand, how about that?’

Sox Favorite to Land “Cuban Ohtani”
Assuming they agreed to overpay to get this agreement out of him to sign. But that said, Interesting how it shakes out. If Vaughn stays in LF, and Cespedes plays RF, there is not spot for him on the team. First base? Abreu now, and imo, Eloy will need to to find a position. I suppose they can just stick with the original plan and have Vaughn at first and Eloy in LF, but there is still no spot for Colas. Im sure the Sox will honor his agreement, but this very easily could be a trade waiting to happen with a few very feasible events.

Sox Favorite to Land “Cuban Ohtani”
Nothing new here, except that he doesn’t want to pitch. And some bad info to boot. He cannot play CF.

Lorretta's Lounge renamed after TLR
They used to garner bad press for being poorly run as far as the stuff between the lines. But they had an ear for the fanbase somewhat. Stadium build notwithstanding. Now they just routinely garner bad press, and its like they are completely blind to what the Sox fan base is caring about

I used to think this organization was semi-in tune with its fans. It suddenly has gone 100% tone deaf in one season. Quite remarkable.

The Andrew Vaughn LF Thread
Eloy Robert and Vaughn will lead the league in gappers and triples down the line

The Andrew Vaughn LF Thread
Robert is rangy, but that outfield seems like a tall order even for him to make it work. Cespedes speed and defense should be good enough to get that job imo. The team to build is not based on all pitching and slugging. To go all the way, pitching and defense still have to be present, and pitching needs defense to be effective. Where does that leave Vaughn? I don’t know, the answer may unfold as the team swallows hard and makes some ultimate decisions on which direction to take this. I still think Eloy will be in the outfield for a couple years. Eloy Robert and Cespedes . Vaighn could move around a lot. He seems like he could become one of those utility guys Like Kris Bryant.

5/25 Cardinals vs. White Sox
His throws definitely are.

The Andrew Vaughn LF Thread
I have a feeling Eloy will get his job back. The unwritten rules! But having competition will be good for him. Hopefully he is motivated to lose some weight. Not that he’s fat or anything. But he can be 10 lbs lighter

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
I CJ Abrams guy for the record. Vaughn always made me nervous. As did Madrigal. I know, good for me yay.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
Well I wasn’t talking about predraft. Fair enough, we will agree to disagree.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
Goldy raked like an absolute stud from day 1 professional. Cant say the same respective to the Cal guy. I mean, he was respectable. But I think the Snakes could see what they had on their hands prettyyyy quick. Can we? Caufield says we cannot yet, which I agree with. Therefore, Vaughn is tradeable. All Im saying.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
Predraft, sure.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
I just wouldn’t talk about him like he is a Goldschmidt level prospect because he has never shown that yet professionally. And is 4 inches shorter. Unless he was showing that level, he can be traded. We can call small sample size, but if we do, that means projection.
-
5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
To be honest, its mostly been projection rather than production since college. But your right it could bite you if you traded him now. However, he doesn’t play a premium position, and pure hitters can be found. I would be open to a deal. Its not like trading a 17 YO shortstop with all the tools in the world.

The TLR Manager Thread
Disagree on the premise of the Bulls not winning again. Just look at the win totals the last season and project the disaster falloff if your theory is correct. Doubtful they were going anywhere south unless Jordan’s finger was falling off. The rebuild did show how overrated Krause was though. He did good enough and rode the GOAT. Not a rare feat of strength.

The TLR Manager Thread
Pretty elementary. I think you weigh the positive outcomes against the negatives and look at game saving balances ultimately. The worst manager of all time has never had 100% of moves blow up on his face. But on balance? You be the judge.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
They might. But looking at the lineup is what fuels the dread.

The TLR Manager Thread
Im not sure if it was Leyland or Madden that said the manager determins a handful or a few handfuls of games at best in a season. But TLR has not seemingly helped the team yet at all. Hes got to pick them up somewhere, sometime.

Welp. Reinsdorf the team killer strikes again.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
For me the issue is he is the opposite of clutch so far.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
TLR sure did pee on the parade tho.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
Hendricks was always more of a luxury than a need though. They always should have gotten a right fielder instead.
