Can't be swinging at that on the first pitch Eloy.

How is a RF not playing Robert deep enough to get that? Dallas Keuchel would be pissed.

Wait, did Sheets just pinch hit for a guy who just came in this inning?

Tired of umpires gifting strikes on 3-0. And then Leury flies out.

Both Garcia and Goodwin have been decent recently.

With Kopech and Lopez both able to throw multiple innings and never having to play more than 3 days a row in the playoffs, there's no need to keep more than 11 pitchers.

I'm really like Robert-Moncada-Abreu top of the order. I know it would be too much outside the box for a manager to do but I'd like to see TA bat 6th when he comes back.

Thought Goodwin got all of that.

Wow. Kopech getting a second inning on the second night in a row.

How long does Eloy get to struggle in the cleanup spot before they swap them around?

Angels up on the Astros 4-1 after 6

I don't remember ever seeing a guy this locked in for this long.

Or the 100 on the inside corner. Either one works.

Now would be a great time for Kopech to get it figured out.

Looks like someone told Jose it's not August anymore.

No-hitter. Magic # = 11

Hader in to pitch the 9th. Brutal to send Burnes out there for the 8th when he was already over 100 pitches and then not let him pitch the 9th.
-
GT 9/11: BOS @ SOX, 6:10
Burnes did stay in for the 8th. Still has the no-hitter. At 115 pitches going to the 9th.

It's Larussa's fault that he didn't figure out Cease was crap tonight until after he'd given up 7 runs.

I’m bored, just waiting for the post season
Under the 2020 format, the top 2 in each division got in, so Cleveland would be fighting Detroit for a playoff spot and Seattle would have to finish better than Oakland or both Toronto and NY/Bos.

Yeah, this. There are nights when your starter, even the best ones, just don't have it. Can't leave him out there to give up 7 runs, especially when the opposing starter is hittable. Keeping this inning at 3-2 or even 4-2 makes this still a winnable game, but Tony just doesn't want to pull starters this early.
