Especially since when he said it, the Sox were just about always playing 2 infielders in the outfield and sometimes 3. That had to be frustrating for a pitcher who doesn't strike out many guys and relies on the defense to get outs for him.

Giolito's injury was from slipping and not a stress injury so I'm not worried about him. Cease is not showing signs of fatigue and Lynn should be better after his current break. The only one I'm really worried about is Rodon.
