at this point in time does it really matter anymore????? without offense we suck... and the defense isnt much better sorry to say........who cares whos on the mound... they arent going to get much support anyhow........mho........ Actually, the defense has been better than the past few seasons. They have only 17 errors in 27 games and are 6th in the AL in fielding percentage. Seattle is 1st with 12 errors in 26 games. If the lineup was hitting up to even half it's potential they would be sitting in 1st place right now.

Every year I keep hoping they s***can the stupid slogans. Every one of them gets used later in the season to ridicule the team. Next year use the slogan "Shut the f*** up and play".

I wonder if Jerry Manuel would be the first manager ever fired from a team that was .500 or better? The only other guy I could think of would be Billy Martin when he was managing the Yankees.

I will be there. I will stop up by the fan deck and say hi in the top of the 2nd.

My ass isn't what it was back in the days when I would "shake my money-maker".

How can anyone hate a guy who has a mom that reads dog's minds and tells someone's future from their ass print? Link

I'm sure she met guys in parking garages and gave them things though.

He also writes about the Sox: "Why is there such talk of no attendance. The seats are full. I will take you there in one hour and show you that there is not even one empty blue seat. The masses are at the gates of U.S. Cellular and they must be beaten back with bats to keep them out." "There has never been anyone on the field. Those images, I tell you now, were created by the enemy. They are false. They are a lie. Never once has anyone been on the field or near a coach much less an umpire." "The payroll is the highest in the league I tell you. The infidels lie and want us to beleive that money is never spent on players. I tell you this, we have and always will spend money to get the very very best players and keep them here forever."

He has been writing about the cubs winning the world series for years. "The Chicago Cubs have had winning teams each and every year of their existence. There is no proof that they have ever lost even one game to the hands of the infidels of the National League. I tell you this, they have crushed their opponents on the field with very very strong force and have captured the championship time and time again. What Yankees? Those who say that the Yankees have captured even one trophy are liars! The Yankees and all other teams have not even come within 50 games of the Cubs. The infidels that say 1969 was a failure are lying. The season was created in a Hollywood studio. I tell you this, the Cubs defeated the Mets like dogs and left them dying at the gates of Wrigley."

Dig up a really old grave from when they used actual coffin nails. Take a coffin nail and impale a fly with it. Get a few strands of hair from the people you hate and put them in a small cloth sack with the impaled fly. After a few days they will develop huge sores all over their bodies.

Doesn't sound strange to me, I hate missing the first pitch from my seats. I have rituals for everything I do, I think I have a bit of OCD. I go crazy if I am going to be even a minute late to something and I have to make sure everything is in it's place and in order. It is hard for me to walk through the kitchen if there is even one dish in the sink. Every morning I do exactly the same things in the same order when I get ready. I can't stand it if something throws the ritual off. I will pop up there and say hi.

I will be there tomorrow and Friday. Same place, section 162, sitting with Huge. I have been to 5 games so far. Zach.. let's meet up at the fan deck tomorrow. Jim is freaking out because I keep talking about all you guys and since he was in California for opening day he's out of the loop.. Sounds cool to me. When? Before, during, or after the game?

Either Lemont or Woodridge. We are putting deposits down in both to grab the first open lot. The two subdivisons are about 4 miles apart. Leaning more towards Lemont because it is Cook county and the taxes are much less than Dupage. This will cut down my ride to work in half and hopefully save some of the little bit of remaining sanity I have.

Hmmmm...I had last heard they were spotted enjoying some crab cakes together after one of the Baltimore games. Hard to believe she would let a stud like Joe Nossek get away.
-
HSC, what is the inside scoop on Joe Nossek's love life? Are the rumors about him and Britney Spears true?
-
I put a deposit down on a lot today and hope to have a new house in a year. Plus, I had a kick ass chicken ceaser salad. My day is complete.

I remember seeing people giving/getting blowjobs in the dark corners of the upper and lower decks. With all the pot smoke it was like being on the set of a Cheech and Chong movie.

I wished I owned a funnel cake factory so I could see you come by every day and beg! That would be awesome. I wish I had invented the funnel cake too.

I wish I would have nailed that girl that was coming on to me at Brubaker's late one night back in 1990. She was hot, but I was drunk and missed the signals. Guess it is time to let it go. Damn, I wish Dybzinski had held at 2nd base too. And I really wish I would have partnered up with Bill Gates back in the early 80's. Once I invent a time machine I will go back and fix it all.

MOTHERF*CKING B*TCHASS DIPSHIT PASSIONLESS SOX!!!!
zach23 replied to BridgeportHeather's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I was there tonight freezing my ass off and listening to all the twinkies fans in my section (some yapping cub fans too). I would be there tomorrow if not for something else I must do for school. I am there 30+ times a year no matter how good or bad they play. Yeah, they are playing like s***, but I remember in 2000 when they were going good and people had a litany of excuses for not going too. (I don't like looking at all the ads, the seats are the wrong color, the park faces the wrong way, a parking lot guy was rude to me, the guy taking my ticket didn't say hi, there was too much mustard on my hotdog, there wasn't enough mustard on my hotdog, my seat was cold, nobody would carry me from the car to my seat and now my legs hurt, it was cold, it was hot, the Sox players wouldn't wave to me, I went to 1 game all year and my favorite player didn't play that game, etc, etc, etc, etc). I remember being there the series before they went to Minn. and clinched, it was empty just like now. What the f***, they were winning? What was the excuse? The majority of Sox fans seem to enjoy whining more than anything lately. I hate to say that, but the more I see of it, the more it looks like the truth. Yeah 1994 and the white flag trade in 1997 sucked, but isn't it about time to get over it? I listened to a guy tonight b****ing up a storm tonight as to why Rios was trying to bunt. He kept yelling that he should swing away. When he hit into the DP, he b****ed about him swinging. I listen to people b**** about Thomas every at bat and then get all giddy when he hit the HR. I actually heard one "Sox" fan yelling that Buehrle sucks! Yeah, I am pissed they are losing, but going insane like this after every loss is......well, insane. I was only 3 in 1970, so that I don't remember that, but I did watch much worse baseball than this in 1979, 1980, 1985, 1986, 1987, and a horrible last place team in 1989.
