About time you showed up.
-
I'm not giving up yet. If I did, what would be the point of paying any attention to them the rest of the year?
-
I feel like some of my brain cells are melting as I read this thread.
-
That's my brother. I don't have issues with my dogs, we get along just fine.

1) So 2) Like I care 3) Again, I find it hard to dig deep and give a s***.

Here is her picture. Her real name is Stephanie Seymour:

How do I feel naked? With my hands.

Sorry, haven't been on here all weekend, I have been busy with other things. Of course it was great to see you again, as well as everyone else. I hope we get to meet for many more this year. Cubkilla, no problem, I was happy to share with you all. I wish I had brought even more, but I figured that GUG would be there with enough food for 1000 people.

Amen clu. I feel the same way. I can't stand watching them lose, but I will support them til the end and won't start throwing them all under the bus when they struggle. I was at the game the other night when they came back against Toronto and there were plenty of "fans" ripping them when it was 5-1. One guy was b****ing and moaning about Gordon when he came in. It almost seemed like he wanted him to fail. After Gordon got done mowing a few guys down, this guy shrugged it off saying "He is only doing well cuz he is throwing 97 mph". When C. Lee hit the homer this guy didn't even look excited.

I think you already went.

He is going by what the media told him....but wait....he hates the media and tells everyone not to listen to them.....except now.....but not when Paulie fought with Frank, cuz Paulie is an ass......but they didn't fight, the media made that up and is bad....... It is easier to solve a Rubik cube with one hand while blindfolded than it is to make sense of his pretzel logic. All in all it is hilarious to read though. There are instances when the media is right (like the whole friends thing) but the instances where they are wrong outweigh they instances where they are right. And Ill admit it, I dont care if PK fights with Thomas (Id side with Thomas tho) but PK didnt need to go to the media. Training Day sums it up best, "This is a newspaper. Its 99% BS but its entertaining"... So the media is right when it suits what you want to be right and wrong when it is something you don't like. The 99% quote fits more than just newspapers around here.

And what question about Ray and JB? That they were friends? They used to eat out together and they were described by the same hated media as good friends... Maybe that was media exageration and in reality they hated each other.

I didnt like Ray and JB because they were Thomas' friends, I liked Ray because he was a great player and fun to watch and I liked JB, even tho he wasnt the best pitcher, because he always pitched his heart out, unlike Buehrle. The fact that they were Frank's friends just got them bonus points... Buerhle doesn't pitch his heart out?! Damn, pass me what you are smoking. He cares more about St Louis. He doesnt want to be here. JB always tried his best and I loved that... Yeah, Mark goes out there every game trying to lose because he doesn't want to be here. Do you ever listen to yourself?

Media exxageration. Frank and PK never were fighting, the media just overexxagerated. Which is why I hate the media. And I never said anything about the clubhouse relationships of Franks. I just talked about how he gives to charity (a lot that is, I aint talking about givin dimes to bums on the street) and how I really like that. I hope I can meet Frank some day... So by your logic we should sign Mother Teresa, the Pope, and Jerry Lewis.
-
Yeah, we should have dumped MB and kept Baldwin here. He has done so well since leaving. Maybe MB will become good buddies with Frank and you will love him then.
-
What have you been reading / watching the past several seasons? There has been nothing but controversy surrounding Frank.
-
My bet is he will play CF. He will handle it adequately but not knock anyone's Sox off. He'll make an occasional error that will have Sox fans all over cursing at their TV and pounding f*** into their keyboards. Why not give the guy a chance. If Willie can tear it up in AAA and fail miserably in Chicago, then why can't the opposite be true for Borchard? Sometimes things just don't make sense and they don't always progress naturally. We'll see if he can "find himself" in Chicago. The sad thing is, if he struggles, the assholes I hear out in the bleachers will be hurling the insults and screaming for him to be released.

I will be too busy losing by slaughter rule again with my team and then getting drunk. well then I won't go looking in Section 160... good luck tonight Thats 162. Good luck, lol. We would need divine intervention playing against the best team in the league. These guys have beat us by slaughter rule everytime they faced us the past 2 years, and this year our team has gotten worse. I am not sure we will ever get off the field in the top of the 1st, we don't have anyone left without a sore arm to pitch. Can't wait to get to the bar.

Looks like I am going now. My wife just got 4 tickets from her boss in section 123, row 7. Not sure how early we will meet for the tailgate though, but we will stop by for a little while at least.

I agree. There have been a ton of guys that have had mediocre careers and then suddenly exploded with one great year, only to return to mediocre. Floyd Bannister was a good example of that.

Now where am I going to go each winter for my S&M lessons? I still need to refine my whip technique, and I was just learning the proper way to use a rubber hose for torture. Looks like I need to sell the hoods and dog collars on ebay now.
