Booing is one thing. I bet Jon is referring to all the assholes that yell personel insults and profanity. I hear way too much of that. Like I said, last year I heard a lot of nasty s*** yelled at Foulke, now everyone misses him. This is why I hope Borchard is left in AAA a little longer. Everyone loves him now, but if he comes up and struggles the "fans" in CF will hurl insults at him like you couldn't imagine. I would imagine guys hate playing here. Even in 2000 when they were close to clinching they were playing in front of 15,000 people. And I also remember Singleton getting frustrated that season when he was taunted by his own fans during a game in September. How does anyone get excited about coming out to a small crowd of people each night with most screaming insults the instant you hit a little slump. Hell, I listened to a guy yell at Buerhle that he was a piece of s*** and should get out of town as he played long toss. Yeah, they make a lot of money and it is enough that they should block it out, but our guys have no homefield advantage. We heckle our own players more than the opposition.

Since they enjoy playing with s*** so much, they should make those suburban princesses clean the restrooms at the tollway rest stops for awhile.

I was thinking about the 30th after work. I have to look at the schedule and see if we have games on either the 30th or 31st. If not, either day is ok with me.

I have been to both Pittsburgh and SF. One thing they have in common is both suck for driving. Hills, traffic, and crooked ass streets that are not marked well.

It is called "Officials Time Out" and it is on Higgins just east of Barrington rd. The bar is connected to the Poplar Creek bowling alley. We have had several meetings there to watch games. The 27th and 29th are no good for me, I will have class those nights. The 26th is Memorial day. so how about Friday the 30th. You should come down for one of our games. Ya know, wsf pointed something out to me the other day. The 1983 Sox started 38-35 and won 99 games. Make your own conclusions... My conclusion is the '83 Sox were really good. I remember watching them at old Comiskey. This team could do that. They just need to have some motivation, which JM fails to give, which is why he needs to be fired... Never said this team couldn't. I also remember everyone wanting Larussa fired in '83 after the slow start.
