Same place, row 1 of section 162. Probably getting to the game just before the start time.
-
I will be there tonight.
-
I can imagine what will happen to my anti red wing posts.

The Ring was a boring piece of crap. I wish could have the $9 and 2 hours of my life back I spent watching that flaming turd.
-
Sweet! Bye bye Dead Things! Can't wait for the rebuilding to begin now.

I agree with you on all these things Steff. Security needs to do a way better job than they are. What about jacking up the price of beer so that it is way too expensive for these idiots to over consume. Hell, it is $7 a beer at the World music theatre, make it the same at ball games. I know this sucks for the casual drinker, but something has to be done. I know people could get half drunk before going in, so tighten security to deny these drunks access. Another solution might be issuing those over 21 a wrist band with 3 drink tabs on it when they enter the park. Once the tabs are gone, no more beer. If the wrist band has been broken it is no longer any good. This would stop someone who isn't using theirs for drinks from passing it to someone else to get more than the 3 they are allowed. The time it takes to take the tabs would be the same time it takes now to check ID. You know they are 21 because they have the rist band. Yeah, this would all suck and be an inconvienence, but it is better than watching more scenes like last night, the brawls in the bleachers I have seen on other half price nights, and the incidents like the one involving the two girls flashing the crowd last year.

I hope the Mayor responds too....by making an example of the idiots that ran on the field. I hope the Sox management responds as well.....by making it harder for more idiots to do this. I don't blame Mintkeiwicz (however you spell that) for saying that at all. Last year a coach got beat up in the park and now there are idiots galore running around on the field and approaching umpires. I bet our own players are starting to get worried about playing at their own home field. The Sox need to fix this fast. In the eyes of the rest of the country we look like violent idiots right now.

agreed Same here. There was nothing amusing about any of that last night.

Zach out of curiousity, were you sitting in the front row of 159 with a crutch, in the 1917 jersey? If so I was sitting across the aisle from you guys! Front row of 162 with a home white jersey.
-
was all beer half off too? It wasn't half off, but you have to figure they have more money for beer when it is only half price to get in. Steff, why not cut someone off before they have 20+ beers and act like an asshole? Is there a point to going to a game just to see how wasted you can get? Isn't this what we accuse cub fans of doing? Yeah, I know ....bla bla bla. I like to drink a bit too, but it's ridiculous having all these people out there loaded. If you want that, go to a bar.

Heard on ESPN that Joe Randa and one of the K.C. GM said that if security is not tightened they won't take the field. Can't say that I blame them, after last night I feel embarrased for our team and city.
-
The guy that threw Randa's home run back was 4 seats from me. To make it more disgusting, he snatched it away from few a kids that were going for it. What an asshole. Last night was one of the worst I have had at a game. The entire bleacher section was mostly drunks. There was one asshole that was being egged on by the others to jump on the field after the umpire incident and when a woman security person stopped him he threw a punch at her. You could see in his eyes that he was loaded. Sorry, but they should really think about limiting the number of beers that each person could have during half price nights. Last night was worse that the rowdiest nights I spent in the left field general admission of the old park. I felt bad for the people that had families there.

Way back in the day my friends saved me and I saved some of them from serious injury during some haaard partyin'. Here's to good friends. I had a lot of head injuries back in my drunken days. Ran into an I-beam and bashed my head open, fell down and hit my head numerous times, and fell off a building trying to scale the side of it thus hitting my back and head. I also got 10 stitches in the little finger on my right hand from a broken beer bottle, and hurt my leg falling part way into an open sewer cover. I have a scar on my left arm that kind of resembles a Nike swoosh, I don't remember how I got that one, just woke up with a gash on my arm after being passed out in the back of my friend's car following a hardcore show at the Igloo. I also fell off the hood of a car that was going about 20 mph, and fell out of a tree I attempted to climb. One time I tried to race one of my friends on foot while drunk and slid in gravel tearing up my knee and arm pretty bad. During an "Anthrax", "Celtic Frost" show at the Aragon I hit my head and arm hard on the floor when I missed the crowd I was trying to jump on from the back of a folding chair. I also fell on my shoulder stage diving and missing the crowd at a GBH show at the Cubby Bear. Besides that I did ok though.

I went with "Other". Herm Schneider is a lock.

Probably going to eat at Gio's before the game, so I don't know how early we will be there. Maybe I will stop by if I make a funnel cake run. I will be wearing a giant cardboard head that resembles Tom Skilling, and no pants. You met me at the home opener tailgate anyway, so you should know that I look like Skippy from Family Ties.

It's gonna be nice weather and MB on the mound. Anyone else going tonight? Stop by the first row of section 162 and say hi. If your name is Ligue, please stay home.
-
Luv ya too brother. Just hate them damn Dead Wings.

When either the cubs or the Dead Things lose there is some happiness in my day. I am hoping for a trifecta today, a Sox thrashing of the Royals, a cubs loss, and the Dead Things getting finished off and sent home. As Heather said, it will be all the more sweeter knowing the Hawks beat those geezer bastards on the last game of the season and made them have to face the Ducks in the first round. Ha-f***ing-ha. At least that pasty faced sissy Fedorov will have more time to find underage girls to date this spring and summer. :finger :finger :finger :finger

GO DUCKS!!!!!!! A first round exit without winning one game would be sweet. f*** the Dead Things. Hockeytown my ass.

zach...do you get comcast cable??...they just change their music station line up and are carrying a new wave station..ive heard about 5 replacement songs the last week or so...some great music..alot of good 80's new wave and some 70's punk..past hour ive heard the cure , the alarm , the clash , the ramones , the violent femmes..some good stuff I have DirecTV and get those same music channels. I have everything by the Replacements on either CD's or tapes. I got to see them live a few times back in the mid-late 80's.

The movie is called "Say Anything" and the best part is it features a song by the Replacements, one of the greatest bands ever.
