QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 01:16 PM) I've always wanted to jump out of a moving car. It takes a lot of effort not to sometimes. And I've always wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride. So enjoy that Steff, I think it sounds so serene and cool. I once jumped off the hood of a car going only about 10-15 mph and that hurt like hell.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 11:00 AM) I guess uhhh Office Politics isn't much of a problem for ya is it? Only when my 10 month old son starts gossiping about me to my wife when she gets home.

QUOTE(mreye @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 07:26 AM) What do you do? Will it make you feel any better knowing that I sit at a desk in front of a computer, posting on Soxtalk in an air conditioned office on the 26th floor with a beautiful view of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan? I kid, because I care™ Would it make him feel even better knowing that I roll out of bed around 7:30 - 8:00 depending on how I feel and then walk over to my desk in the loft of my house. There I sit and work in my boxer shorts. When the Sox play day games I can watch them on t.v. There is nobody around to bother me. I can drink while working if I want. On nice days I take the laptop out on the deck and work. No traffic to deal with in the morning or afternoon. If I get tired I can lay down and take a quick nap.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) Goats for Cocaine OR Chickens for Sex That meat salesman should realize that chicken will only get you a friendly date and maybe a handshake. If he wanted sex he should have offered at least some prime rib.- Teddy Ruxpin
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 10:00 AM) I need to bone up on my Book of Revelations chronology, but is this supposed to happen before of after the plagues of locusts? I think these things are more of an apocolyptic sign: The evil "Chatty Cathy" doll- Best Songs To "Get Down" To

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) If Chewbacca lives on Endor you must acquit. The famous Johnnie Cochoran "Chewbacca defense". If Mike was playing with full grown Wookies instead of little Ewoks he wouldn't be in all this trouble.- A perv's dream come true

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) You're just wasting away to skin and bones there, Zach. It's that demon grazing again, isn't it? Yep grazing away. The only thing helping me keep my weight from going up is the fact that I work up in the loft and walk up and down the stairs all day (usually carrying my 10 month old boy). One of these days I will lose weight......just not today....and probably not tomorrow either since there are still a few Drumsticks left in the freezer.- What did you have for lunch today?
Sushi (California rolls), a turkey sandwich, some chocolate chip cookies, a "Drumsitck" ice cream cone, some pretzels and a canoli. Washed it down with some water, a Mountain Dew and a Peach Twisted Tea. Tonight at the game I think I may have a Super Nacho platter and maybe a root beer float. Unless we go to Gio's before the game, then I will have the Chicken Sicilliana and maybe have a funnel cake at the game.- Kelly Dransfeldt?
QUOTE(TLAK @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 08:05 PM) I can't find him either and assume he's retired. Between 1871 and the end of last season there have been 14,733 major league baseball players with an at bat. You can query any of them at Baseball Refrence. Kelly Dransfeldt is one of them, are you? As 'bad' or 'turd' as some of you guys want to label him, he accomplished something that has been the dreams of millions on millions but very few have done. He was a Major League Baseball Player. I'd give my left nut to be able to say that (and dissolve my right one with steroids, if that's what it took). Didn't anybody look at the link in my earlier post? He is working at some fitness training place now.- scout seats
QUOTE(hi8is @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 04:19 PM) they might even be a little more then that, i just talked with the US Cell. sales department and the scout seats arent being sold indivisually any longer, you have to buy season tickets in that section from now on... and im sorry, as big as a sox fan i am, im not gonna drop $8,500 for 45 games... even if they are right behind home plate even if you get to drink all the beer you can even if you get to eat all the food you want even if you get to go to an exclusive bbq before the game ummm sounds like heaven... help this califiornia fan get his slice please =) Try stubhub.com I think I have seen scout seats on there for some games. They are usually going for $250+ a ticket though I think.- Owner of heavethehawk.com
